I was booked on one of those. Not a chance I stay on that itinerary now. Colombia would be neat to visit, but the rest of it, meh.
RC knows a canal transit is a bucket list item for many. I wish they'd give us a little bit help for our troubles since so many will cancel and it's too late to get a good deal elsewhere.
I've been there 5 times since the restart and haven't seen the balloon go up at all.
I'm surprised they don't just scrap that thing and use that space for something new.
google the name of the excursion and you'll find reviews. You may also find the actual tour company that runs the excursion and find it a lot cheaper to book direct.
I've enjoyed the 3 times we had an aft cabin. The superstructure obstruction really wasn't that big of a deal. Yes, if you're sitting right by the railing, people above you can see you, but that gets hot in the sun like that.
The most annoying thing about those cabins to us just was the long hike to and from stuff on the ship. But hey, get your steps in!
Much different situation onboard in regards to enforce drinking ages. On land it's a law. On ship it's just a rule. Surely a staffer could get in trouble for serving someone under age, but there's no legal repercussion.
If you're inclined to avoid labadee despite all the safeguards on place, then you should avoid all caribbean ports as well as about any US city that cruises sail out of
