  1. We stock up on water/PowerAde the first half of the cruise, which gets us through. As painful as it is to leave a voucher on the table, we do.
  2. The concierge will email you 5-7 days before a cruise.
  3. I haven't seen a price drop on any of my cruises since last May.
  4. Google can help https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruise-rooms/royal-suite-class
  5. I've had this too. I thank them for asking before I confirm.
  6. That'd be quite the repositioning cruise to get Anthem from Southampton to Singapore.
  7. We ask for daily ice on day 1. I've never had it filled twice per day nor expected it to be.
  8. Add cruises to your watchlist https://www.royalcaribbean.com/watchlist
  9. Yes, really. Look at the crazy stuff people complain about where they claim "I'm switching cruise lines" Well it works in the positive to be a repeat customer, too.
  10. If you have the same last names, you need nothing more than the child's passport. If there are different last names, you are still probably OK, but can't hurt to bring something proving the relationship just in case.
  11. There has to be a policy just to prevent abuse. But just the same, there's leeway for those situations that can benefit the company.
  12. Plus a ship bar isn't a bar in a vacuum. It's part of a larger vacation experience. Making a customer feel special because you give them a free or stiffer drink may well make them book another cruise. Giving away $5-10 in alcohol but having that customer turn around and spend a few thousand on another cruise...not a bad strategy.
  13. And it'll only cost you a few hundred dollars to get in
  14. Using vouchers on the private islands is all on paper and it seems only certain staff are allowed to write them up.
  15. RC arcades are junk anyway. Not worth getting arcade credits for a couple reasons
  16. Book as soon as you find something you like, then monitor for price drops
  17. Man I'd love to be on board when this happens. I frequently get F-18s or F-16s fly about 1500 feet overhead, plus some C-5s or C-17s looking like they're going to land in my back yard.
  18. 5-7 days, depends on how that concierge likes to operate, so it could be 4 days.
  19. I've been the benefactor of many "bonus" poured drinks over the years. Just as good as free, really.
  20. There was a survey recently that found that the percentage of first time cruisers who planned to cruise again was up significantly compare to what it was before the shutdown.
  21. I've never been charged for a drink when I had vouchers available.
