Sorry your weather was a problem. We did the Azamazing evening pre-pandemic at The Teatro Solis in Montevideo , it was fantastic. Did you do any tours in Montevideo? Like the idea of a not crowded ship. We were not happy with Acqualina back in May on the Onward, Thank you for your comments

I can not find a roll call prior to the January 7th cruise leaving Buenos Aires. Anyone on board?

On our 24 day Marina cruise in October, I eventually gave up on steaks and ordered veal whenever I could.

A question. We have Geo-Blue and have never filed a claim. On another post on the Oceania board, I saw a very large bill for intravenous antibiotics. Total bill over $3,000.00 Does Geo-blue pay what they consider reasonable, like Medicare, or do they reimburse the full amount?

Going to be on Pursuit in January, departing from Buenos Aires. Will only have the basic included package. Any suggestions on a Cab to be bought in BA prior to boarding?

To get to the ships, you start in the outdoor mall. You than take an escalator down below the Mall. This is the area where you are processed. We had an overnight. So after a long walk we went through electronic turnstiles and another long walk to the ship through a duty free area. not share where you would check in or drop off luggage.

In May, on the Onward, the guide arranged for a taxi to pick a couple up at the leather factory. They later met us at the pick up point by the church of Santa Croce. the tour that includes a stop in Pisa, did not do the leather factory .

Any thoughts on my dry cleaning question?

Last May, while on the Onward there was no dry cleaning. we will be on the Pursuit in January and the Quest in April, Do these ships still have dry cleaning?

As to the liquor. Are the ships back to small bottles rather than one large. Is it now 3 rather than 4?

Isn’t the port at least 1 and a half hours from Bangkok ?

Yes the discount and OBC. Oceania allows it 30 days before or after.

Does Azamara give on board booking benefits 30 days before, or 30 days after a cruise like Oceania does?

We had the bag on Marina in November. Never used it. Didn’t want to identify as an American tourist when ashore.

In May, when on Azamara’s Onward I was able to do Wi-Fi calling, no such thing on Marina.

We are on the earlier portion of FF’s 47 days. We had 24 Barcelona to Rome, not sure people do the online comments, if the ship’s internet doesn’t work, My major complaint, like FF was Destination Services. Between canceling and rebooking excursions it was a mess, I gave up trying to figure out if I was refunded the correct amount for canceled or changed excursions.. My two cruises this year were both full to capacity. Insignia in July and the last 10 days of my 24 on Marina, There was a big difference between the first segment and the 2nd because the 1st segment had around 300 less passengers. someone with more knowledge might know if O has changed the number of staff on their ships. It sure felt like it. on a god note, Toscana was our favorite, Hope to see many of the Toscana staff on the Vista in August.

Is H. Stern still in business?

I have somewhat the same problem. I too was on Onward maiden and used the FCC to book a cruise this January. Because I had already deposited the cruise I wound up with a balance of the FCC of around $400.00. I want to use it for a cruise where payment is due December 8th. ‘’My additional problem is I have different TA’s for the two cruises Dont know if I can talk to Azamara direct.

I’m getting mixed messages on Azamara’s website. was wondering what other cruise lines are requiring.

Keep checking the shore excursions. Oceania can add, change or delete an excursion.

Follow up. On our January 24th South America plenty of discounts. On our April Asia, cruise, no discounts

Does anyone have experience with this type of sale? Can you cancel already booked excursions and then rebook.? Last, how do you know you are getting the discount? Appreciate any and all comments

A lot depends on a person’s age, and budget. We arranged our own flights post cruise from Lima. Then we had Belmont hotels arrange the rest of the itinerary. The highlight, was staying at the Sanctuary Lodge at Manchu Pichu. I was able to enter the park at sunrise.
