  1. I would probably use the prepaid visa to buy Carnival gift cards tbh.
  2. You can get photos of funtimes here: https://www.saintgregtravel.com/fun-times/
  3. Next they should include grats in the price.
  4. If you're doing this to share Cheers with 4 people while only buying 2 packages, beware that Carnival has the right to cancel Cheers and go back and charge you for all drinks if they determine you're sharing.
  5. Cruise ship casinos are fairly tight compared to land casinos
  6. Good point, but even still the only folks who don't get the free 1.5L bottle are blue cards. Every returning guest gets a free 1.5L bottle.
  7. Also don't forget about the free 1.5L bottle you get assuming this isn't your first carnival cruise.
  8. You do call room service for a case of water to be delivered, assuming you didn't pre-purchase anyway. What I don't know is are cases of water included in the Elite room service comp.
  9. You do not need to purchase cruise cash. You can fund your onboard account many ways. What I do is I simply give Carnival my credit card, and when I leave the ship they charge my credit card for any onboard purchases I made. https://help.carnival.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1138/~/sail-%26-sign-onboard-account
  10. Everyone who wants to text must purchase the texting plan, it is $5 per person per cruise. It only works to text others onboard. You can't use it to text people onshore.
  11. The shows will be the same, they rarely change them. As in, maybe every decade. Think of it this way, while everyone else is watching the show you can try other things you missed out on last cruise.
  12. They may or may not be "experts" on the market at large, whatever that means. But they are not experts on individual stocks and the intricacies of each industry. They shouldn't even try to explain things they don't understand, it calls into question their entire platform IMO.
  13. You can call room service and have a pot of coffee and danish sent to your room that early at no cost, a small tip is customary. I think the buffet has continental breakfast around that time as well. Coffee is available 24/7 self-serve at the buffet even when no meals are being served. Hot breakfast starts a little later, I think 7.
  14. They supply cones, the cake cone style. Yes, sadly nothing is 24/7 on Carnival anymore. A big loss.
  15. They know enough to know the Casino is paying for the rooms at a rate that Carnival negotiates. They're arguing in bad faith with strawman argumentation. Move on.
  16. Are you booking the same rate code? The new booking engine is bad about switching rate codes on me. I often have to go back and specifically select the rate code I want. This is why I book all my cruises with a TA - they use a different booking system than what is exposed to customers on carnival.com and they have an easier time using the specific rate codes I want.
  17. That's what I mean when I say there's not much onboard for that age group. There are no organized things. I would say to be active on the social media roll calls for the cruise and ask for others who may be in a similar situation and set up your own meet and greet.
  18. there isn't really much for that age group onboard tbh
  19. For one thing, Carnival never published the email addresses for them. People reverse engineered them I guess because of the fairly easy to figure out pattern of them. They didn't actually prevent it until fairly recently though.
  20. Typically the longer you wait, the more you pay. May the odds be ever in your favor.
  21. People think they are a special snowflake and their request deserves special attention even though if you scroll down on his page on any given day, there are 50 more just like yours. What I've learned reading things like this forum and his page are travel agents earn every dime of their commission, and I truly hope that PVPs are paid well because whatever they earn is well deserved.
  22. That wouldn't work for this because you have to share your name, booking number, etc., on a public forum. But as I said, there is nothing JH can do on Facebook that you can't do yourself. So just do it yourself if you're worried about the public aspect.
  23. Social media apps like snapchat, facebook messenger, whatsapp, etc., will work fine on any wifi plan
