@fethiyeden - I will definitely report back. I am on the NCL Breakaway the end of November and booked this excursion using the shore credit. On NCL, it states that it is a catamaran so that will take longer to get to Passion Island, but I still think it will be a nice journey.
@sheila77hope you had a fabulous time on the Breakaway. How was the Passion Island Ncl tour on the catamaran?
would you recommend the shore excursion? Thanks Denise

Boat ride, cold beer, tacos and a good massage!! - My kind of day!
Thanks again for sharing!!
@sheila77 if you book, please will you report back? We are on the NCL breakaway in January & are also thinking of booking this.

From the videos I’ve watched the bed is in the extra space. So 10810 bed by entrance. 10812 bed by the balcony. 10814. Bed by the entrance.

I think that I'm going to forego the Virgin Voyages cruise during Christmas break, and I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger on the Breakaway out of New Orleans for December 19 - 26th... Cheaper, or at least equal in price to Scarlet Lady, but seven days instead of four, and included drink package and dining package... Even including the flights and one night in a hotel, I'll still come out about the same as Scarlet Lady would be, once I add in drinks, flights, and hotel... Only thing is that I would need to take off some additional days prior to our regular Christmas break... We'll see...
Ohhh, I hope you book this one. We are booked on the Breakaway January 23rd sailing, still hoping we can get there travelling from Turkey. We have to take 3 flights, we would leave home on the Wednesday afternoon & wouldn’t arrive in New Orleans until 7pm on the Thursday evening. (39 hours travel time with the time difference, including an overnight hotel in Istanbul)
We will have 2 days exploring New Orleans & time to get over our jet lag.

Thanks for the update. Can I ask did you book through the ship or was it a private excursion? If private who did you book with?
we are hoping to be in Cozumel in January with Ncl but they only have the catamaran trip to Passion Island.
Thanks.

In other news, I went down a bit of a rabbit hole today. It was on-sale day for Princess Elite for 22-23 West Coast sailings. I had my eye on a roundtrip Hawaii from Vancouver 15 days (no flights-yay) and a roundtrip LA to Hawaii/Tahiti for 28 days. I got major sticker shock at the 15 day sailing - I've done this one in the past and the price today was almost double what I would normally pay PLUS the deposit was $500 per person rather than the usual $100. I definitely didn't pull the trigger, but went on to check out the 28 day instead (cause if a 15 day is out of my budget, stands to reason I would look at a 28 day, right...lol) Anyways, that one was so far out of my price zone that I didn't even go through to look at availability! Somehow or other I ended up on NCL and put a hold on a Mexico sailing in December on Bliss (wasn't even on my radar). I would have booked there and then except I couldn't figure out how make it apply my cruise next certificate - supposedly the "offer" right now is 2-for-1 deposit (which should be covered with cruise next) but it kept asking me for another deposit. I will go back and re-look at it....hope they don't want me to pay a full deposit for the 3rd guest (who sails "free"). That would REALLY prove my theory that nothing in life is free....ha ha
Hi,
Long time lurker here.
Thanks to you all for my daily break from every day life.
@ceilidh1i live in Turkey but booked an Ncl cruise through the uk site as it was cheaper than the Europe or America site. The deposit was only £50 per person but I had to pay it for my daughter (who was a 3rd guest free).

January 2016 east & western Mediterranean b2b 21 nights in an aft balcony cabin on the Epic.
3 people £700 each(around $1000 dollars) & it included the UBP & soda package for our daughter.
21 nights total $3000.
We had no rain for the whole trip, which for January & February in Europe is unheard of.
We had 11 Ports of call visiting Morocco, Canary Islands, Madeira, Spain & Italy.

What are the requirements for enroling into Latitudes Rewards?
There are no requirements; you will be automatically enroled into the Latitudes Rewards Programme. You must be over 18 years of age, have completed an eligible sailing with Norwegian Cruise Line. Cruises taken as a minor will be credited to the guest on their first cruise taken after they turn 18 years of age.
This was also in the faqs.
