  1. Bring your own stevia brand as they are all different, the buffet has stevia packets but those have dextrose, if you don’t mind that chemical then more power to ya.
  2. Don’t forget about supply chain issues. Those other ships someone mentioned stating that it didn’t take those ships that long, well those were different times.
  3. The walls on a lot of ships won’t work well with magnets, the walls on Panorama were solid and the magnets held tight, not so much on Radiance, twice on Radiance and two different cabins and the magnet would slide down and not hold at all. Magnets don’t do well on doors. I’ve checked from the inside but haven’t checked on the outside. Will double check on Magic this coming November and report back.
  4. I always recommend to a first time cruiser to start with the lowest cabin (inside) first and if they like cruising then on their 2nd cruise get an ocean view and work your way up to the balcony and suites. Then they can decide for themselves if they want to continue with a balcony.
  5. Bro, save your money and book inside especially if you cruise a lot, I get a free balcony upgrade and might go out there once. If you like to take naps during the day, there is no light leak into the room. unless you want to impress someone have the extra money, go for it. I rather spend my money elsewhere. Fred
  6. Along with the ones posted above, they have a 50th anniversary Carnival trivia that is all carnival related, the Name that Movie theme songs or TV shows and also Music trivia by the years, they start out at 50’s and work their way up to 90’s music songs etc.
  7. Sailed Panorama 3x and also posted arrival time of 7:40am Latest Debark time 9:30am But don’t quote me because things do happen that can delay these times on any given cruise. Fred
  8. Hotel Maya by Hilton, nice hotel by the water and you can see the ship dock around 7:40am while having breakfast at their restaurant. Hotel Maya to the pier probably 5 minutes in a Uber.
  9. Thanks for taking the time to review Magic, I will be on her this November.
  10. Was opened 3x last year so if it's closed its due to staffing issues, also there is a podium on Lido somewhere in the middle of the buffet where you can sign up to take the class. These classes sell out fast. The Pasta one seems to be the first to go.
  11. I get them and give them away to kids that are sitting nearby in the MDR, especially the free lanyards.
  12. Thats what they are giving out today, and before that was that cheap rubbery luggage tag.
  13. Priority boarding don't mean squat when you get bumped by a Suite. Fred
  14. I agree with most, the Perks, other than the free wash so I don't have to pack as much, and the 25.00 Free Play isn't worth the Level compared to other brands like Royal. You get free drinks at the Platinum/Diamond party, I don't Drink so that's a wash, I have so many pins, I will probably sell them on eBay, the old school pins with ships funnel to me were way better than this white circle pin. The gift you get is a joke, I don't call for the chocolate dipped strawberries anymore, I don't eat them and now they mix in some other crap, macaroons or something with less Strawberries. I got Magic in November, then B2B on Mardi Gras Nov 2023 and that's it for Carnival, I will be Diamond by then. I have a 16 day on Princess that will take me to Ruby or Emerald status in January and then the rest will be on Royal, Celebrity and or NCL. As far as the Topic, they are looking to hire someone to revamp this Loyalty program, nothing has been said about what's to come.
  15. Juanarcin, I prefer sailing on the small ships, even smaller than the Spirit class but those days are over, I was on a 48,500 GT, Empress of the Seas in 2019 that took us to Cuba and that was a sweet size, not crowded and I could count maybe 12 kids on that ship. So yes, Nice and Peaceful, but I must say that Panorama for the size 133,500 GT, it also has a perfect layout that flows pretty good. Fred
  16. Those 3 times I sailed last year, it was limited passengers so I could imagine how full Panorama is today, my last Sailing in Dec 2021 was like 4001 passengers or so, it still felt roomy. I think that Panorama was fully staffed last year, maybe the numbers dropped by March because I recall the Crew Members telling me that their contracts would be over and by March, that's an 8-month contract.
  17. Helene, I think I posted all of my Panorama reviews on my Roll Calls, Let me see if I can look them up and link them here. Panorama Roll Call 18 Dec 2021 Panorama Roll Call 13 Nov 2021 Panorama Roll Call 18 Sep 2021 Heres the start of the November one;
  18. I agree, been on Panorama 3x myself since Sept 21 and its a great ship, Miracle was too Purple for me, not as nice as Spirit but these Spirit Class ships are a perfect size for the number of passengers and very easy to navigate. Radiance is ok if you are into the Shaq's Big Chicken. As far as all 3, Panorama for sure, it's a great ship, great service all around. Fred
  19. With the exception on Splendor as one passenger said on another post, they no longer serve the bottle of water at the bar and to just grab the one in the cabin. Read about it here
  20. Did you check with another Bar? Also did you get charged for the one in your cabin?
  21. Twice I didn’t get my cabin number until I got to the terminal and the other when I got to the airport and Carnival picked us up and took us to the Hotel. Went from a Cat 4a to a Mini Suite. On Royal, my WiFI wasn’t linking up, turns out I was upgraded to a Balcony Suite so I was trying to activate WIFI with the wrong cabin number.
  22. That’s good to know, I do know is that both of my waiters were new on the day I went and they both were overwhelmed as it was just them 2 serving, having been to the Steakhouse on my last 6 or 7 Carnival cruises since September I knew something was wrong, they even told me that they no longer serve the mini slider which is also wrong. I didn’t want to make a big deal about it because I really don’t care but next time I will ask to speak with the head person there at the steakhouse so that I can report it here correctly. Remember that every ship does things differently and with new crew members most don’t get the right information. Fred
  23. Yes, the waiter told me that. Probably not updated to what John H. said.
