If you get the Key you can drop your luggage off in the MDR and they will take them directly to your room for you. Other than that you are lugging them around with you.

I am on Allure in late October and of course there is no Playmakers. Although I am a Redskins....I mean...Commanders fan so its not like I am going to miss anything. 🙂

Depends what "worth" means to you. Do you want a more laid back and quieter dining room than the main dining room? Than yes it is. If you are spending your money on better quality food? Than no from me. The MDR food is so close to SR food that it isnt worth it to us. But we still do one SR on every cruise for a date night.

The molten chocolate cake is about the only thing Carnival does better than anyone else IMO.

Every single cruise we have ever taken, among just about every line, we have always had a starboard cabin. Just because. Plus if you always stay on the same side you always know if you are heading to the bow or stern when walk out of your room. And with the amount of alcohol we consume we need to know that. 🙂

When will people realize that there is nothing free.

We were in ISP before the makeover. And the locals were complaining about what was coming. I am glad to hear the port was not ruined. It is the only port where you can truly feel disconnected from civilization. At least you could while we were there. And I agree with others that the whale watching is fantastic there. We were followed around for hours by a momma and her calf. It was an amazing experience. It is also the only place I have ever been on a cruise ship and sat on the top deck watching whales breach all around us for hours on end.

Yeah. My sailing on Allure is up to $28.99 now. Glad I snagged it when I did.

I watched videos about the key before I booked it. And yes you are one of the first to board. You board with the pinnacles and diamond plus passengers.

Oh I know that. But we will also be one of the first to board once the cluster starts moving.

Man. Seeing that cluster makes me feel even better about getting The Key for our October Allure cruise.

We priced out the same. So basically you can get the Chops grill lunch, debarkation breakfast, priority boarding and vip seating in the shows for $50? Sounds like a no brainer to me

We just did the same for our October Allure cruise. The Key was cheaper than the internet package. It was a no brainer.

It appears that Promenade deck sticks out pretty far from the side of the ship. I am hoping they do something like NCL's waterfront there. The other thing that sticks out to me is the lack of portholes on the lower decks. Very few OV cabins it appears to me.

Your door signs have been great. Really enjoyed your review. Sorry your cruise is coming to an end. But that gets me one week closer to my time on Allure. Thanks for posting all of the compasses and menus as well. It will be really helpful for our planning.

How do you get drinks before you go to your stateroom if they put your sail cards there?

They still allow it. We cancelled our drink package back in Feb and booked at a lower rate.

I know there is a security checkpoint to get into Port Everglades. I just want to make sure you can use Uber to get to your ship on embarkation day?

When you do a b2b do they allow you into your stateroom on the changeover day or do you have to wait until 1 like everyone else?
