  1. We sailed on her in May and had a great time. Embarkation lunch had chilled lobster tails, peeled jumbo shrimp, and tuna tartar. Never saw that before. We had lunch at Hooked one day and it was delicious. We booked that last Black Friday for $13.99 each. We booked for the ship, not the itinerary.
  2. Trinkets at trivia probably cost a quarter or less. Last year they used the Star lounge for a lot of their trivia sessions.
  3. Ice rink is on deck three across from the dining room.
  4. I wouldn't worry if you're in s group. It's not that far
  5. Leave from Cape Liberty. Portland is still on their 2025 NE/Canada sailings.
  6. In the summer, it's usually exclusive for handicapped.
  7. You can catch a bus two blocks to the left as you exit the building. Ask the staff at the information booth as you get off the escalator. The cabs and car service are very expensive for what amounts to a ten minute ride.
  8. Just mean Portland, not Bar Harbor for the reasons mentioned above.
  9. Sail from Cape Liberty Still on the 2025 schedule. I'm going up north twice next year.
  10. RCCL Anthem stopped there this past January. Yes, there are tour operators when you get off the pier . On a rainy day just take an umbrella and walk around.
  11. The cruise line should offer a shuttle as part of their excursions or use the AAA shuttle. aAA leaves outside the terminal about every,,15 minutes. Cost is about $20 rt.
  12. a CD doesn't make or break the cruise. Only yourself does.
  13. You can easily get around the port area in a wheelchair. Keep in mind that's it's between a 1/4 mile - 1/2 mile each way to get to the port area. Once there, no worries. The beach is less than 1/4 mile to the left once you get to the port area. Keep in mind it's HOT, with little shade. I say this for the person who's pushing the wheelchair.
  14. CT3 is the newish Carnival terminal. I'm surprised Royal is using it even as a port of call. The Symphony has been using it since its been sailing from Bayonne. Last year the Oasis was doing this run, sailing Sunday-Sunday which means it was stopping at PC on a Tuesday. The Symphony sailings are Friday-Friday (until August), which means stopping in PC on a Sunday. My guess is that CT1 is not available.
  15. The area by the bar when you first walk into the,WJ is used for accessible seating. At least part of it is
  16. Yes for both. But choose a late time for check in so a person who wants an early one can get it
  17. We did the same B2B last year, and again this September and next September. We did have the B2B last year. I wonder what changed?
  18. Iconic is the house band. They're on the Anthem for the past six months or so. But they are not a tribute band.
  19. On the 5/24 sailing it was at five. Perhaps they are switching to the early, mid , and late seating that has been talked about?
  20. They stopped bringing tribune bands to the Music Hall to O and Q class ships over a year ago in a cost cutting move.
  21. Just $2 does the trick. Where you're docked depends on how many ships in port and size of the ship. Mega ships are usually docked the furthest out (at least a half mile walk). But three weeks ago we were on the Symphony (and the only ship there that day), and docked in a closet slip
  22. No. You'll be issued an in transit pass. That works in the US but not sure about foreign ports. Don't know where you're sailing from.
  23. Three weeks ago on the embarkation lunch in the WJ on the Symphony they had a raw bar of cold lobster tails, peeled jumbo shrimp, and tuna tartare. I've never seen that before. No limits.
  24. Has anyone done this tour? Trying to decide if its worth the time and money. It's $80 which isn't too bad, but it's about a 75 minute ride each way. Any information would be appreciated.
