  1. I do see your point and it is a good one, but I would rather not spend the additional money.
  2. I always switch out the sides that come with filet in any restaurant with fries.
  3. I am confused......I thought the circled area is "Ocean Villas at Silver Cove" and the lagoon to the leftt are the "Lagoon Villa at Silver Cove" which are more expensive.
  4. And where do you buy bus passes at the Dockyard? Our plan is to take a bus to Hamilton, then a bus to St. George, then catch the NCL Ferry back to the Dockyard. This is for next June so I know things can change as well as our plans.
  5. I did ask once to have it extended by four weeks and was told no. I did not pursue it any further since we decided to just book another cruise to use it.
  6. How did the ones labeled as "Ocean Villas at Silver Cove" look to you? I did book one of those over the weekend, but not sure we will be keeping it.
  7. I think Footloose will not be replaced with any show of the same caliber. It is also still showing up for our June 2024 cruise. While I personally will not miss Footloose (one and done for us) I hope Elements will still be onboard. Would love them to bring onboard MDQ. Is that show still on any ships?
  8. Is there a link to see what the current promotion is?
  9. Thank you both for the great information! Are there particular ocean villas at silver cove that are preferable and why?
  10. Anyone have any updates they would Iike to add in their experience? We are still deciding on which way to go.
  11. Two out of two starboard for us when docking at the Bermuda Dockyard. In June 2024 we have the starboard side booked so I am sure it will dock portside then.
  12. Purchased 12 certificates two weeks ago on the Jewel and promptly applied eight of them to existing reservations as soon as we got home. Did it online, easy peasy.
  13. Did you end up buying the passes? If so, how was the experience and how much were the passes?
  14. For us, the bigger bathroom is worth it.
  15. We were also able to use our $100 SH OBC towards our CN purchase two weeks ago.
  16. For our Jewel Cruise two weeks ago, we bid the maximum amount for both a balcony cabin and club balcony suite cabin bidding up from our picture window oceanview cabin on deck 8. About two weeks prior they had a combined total of 40 of these cabins available and started rewarding upgrades. We were not upgraded. Platinum status, four more on the books but only paid $1440 for our oceanview due to a FCC and the availability to use two CNCs.
  17. Was it the Vibe you purchased and not Posh? They made the change to Vibe advance purchase in July of 2022, but that did not include Posh.
  18. Have not had the opportunity yet, but we plan on buying Vibe passes for our June 2025 Alaskan cruise on the Encore.
  19. Which is why we did not have our cabin cleaned everyday. We always leave additional tip money to our Cabin Stewards, but this time we did end up cutting back 60% of what we had allocated.
  20. On the Jewel two weeks ago, all our our service was late afternoon. Usually between 3-5 p.m.
  21. Really happy you loved the location of your cabin as I remember you were concerned originally. Stayed in that location twice (once in a Haven and once in a non Haven Suite) and absolutely loved the location. As I said previously, we did not miss being inside the Haven as it took less than a minute to get there. And then a minute to get the the DBH!
  22. Have been on both and my husband and I prefer the Jewel. We do not need the fun things like the race track. Loved that the games did not take place in the atrium freeing up that space as it is always crowded on the larger ships. Loved the three elevator banks instead of the two which made all the elevators not crowded. Loved that you did not have to make any show reservations--you just showed up. Loved that even sailing on a smaller ship that was full, it never seemed crowded in any area. Now, if it had a Vibe, it definitely would be my favorite ship.
  23. If it is booked as three different cruises, I would think the points will be added after each leg. Definitely inquire on board at the CN desk.
