Just looked at our February 2024 Encore cruise and all of the excursions are also gone accept those offered at Great Stirrup Cay. They were there yesterday because we booked two excursions. Most likely another computer glitch.
Excellent point. The Vice President of Onboard Revenue. Not the Vice President of Onboard Entertainment.
I agree, they will be charging. And we will not be attending.
I constantly reprice (re-priced one cruise six times) and only once lost the extra latitudes points offered per night. I willingly gave them up for the savings.
We are in a group booking for our June 2024 cruise. I booked through my PCC at the time and he contacted the Group Department and set it up with them. Honestly, I was only after the 15% discount and $100 OBC per cabin. The only issue we had was getting all of the cabins to qualify. As our cruise is in June 2024, I have not needed to have the Group Department make any dining reservations yet, but might do that on my own. When is your cruise?
Just want to say the "once you go Haven, you will not go back" principle does not hold up for everyone. In the last 18 months, we have sailed four times and twice was in a Haven category which we paid for outright. Next up we are in a club balcony suite with Vibe passes and four specialty dining dinners and we are very happy to not be spending the over $6000 more for a Haven cabin. We are not even going to bid for an upgrade.
When we were on the Epic this past March, they brought a birthday cake out for my sister -in-law which no one touched. My sister-in-law asked to have it packed up to bring with us and they said no. Since my family were staying in the Haven, I then said to the waiter to arrange it with our Butler. He was clearly annoyed.
I am 100% sure you will receive a lot of different answers, but this is what we would go with: Moderno, La Cucina and Cagney's. We were (and still are) disappointed with the disappearance of the filet at Teppanyaki and did not enjoy our meal there in March as we usually do. We have also never been to Le Bistro and most likely never will.
No need to apologize! Having never been GSC, I am still debating with myself on what to do. I think all the Silver Cove options are expensive when just two people will be using them for what, six hours at most. Decisions, decisions, decisions.
We had a very positive experience at Cagney's last month on the Jewel. I had the filet and my husband had the ribeye and we were both very happy with our selection. And we were allowed to take our delicious seven layer cake back to our cabin! We have not dined at Cagney's in years and were very happy we decided to give it another try. We will give it a go again in February on the Encore.
