  1. There is definitely a CVS and a Walgreen’s (better stocked of the 2 when we were in the area this past April, but we usually prefer CVS) and a Whole Foods near the Intercontinental, but they are not in the direction of Bayside Marketplace. We were underwhelmed by Bayside.
  2. The busses take you up from one location on Santorini, the ship moves, and you “descend” by whatever means you choose (donkey, walk, or cable car) to a different location to re-join the ship.
  3. I don’t ever recall a classical string quartet on Regent and we have 270 nights. Perhaps guest performers, but not part of the house band.
  4. I bought my Brooklyn pants several years ago with no stripe. I’m not a fan of the stripe either, but the weight of the pants, very lightweight, is great!
  5. I feel that I am that shape as well and they fit great! Why not order a pair and if they don’t work out you can always return them.
  6. I have several pairs of the Athleta Brooklyn ankle pants and love them! Perfect length, pockets, and when I bought them, matching sleeveless shirts. They rinse out and dry overnight; perfect for travel!
  7. I knew #20 because as a child I used to buy my shoes at the Park-Brannock shoe store in Syracuse, New York!
  8. Thank you for this information. For our longer cruises, and especially ones originating in a U.S. port, we fly in a day or two early and shop for our toiletries in a drugstore in the embarkation town. Yes, perhaps not a great use of time in a place you’d rather be exploring, but it gets the job done without involving checked luggage. For those of you who use Kiehl’s products, they have numerous locations in airports, after security. You can also look for their locations in major cities, perhaps where you are sailing from.
  9. I too would like to know about the Cloud in Antarctica. We will be on board in January, 2024.
  10. A gentle correction. The hotel you mentioned is the Victoria and Alfred Hotel (not Albert). We stayed there in 2018 prior to our Cape Town to Rio cruise on Navigator. Loved it!
  11. And we were on Splendor for 2 segments in April and thought he was great!
  12. We filed 2 separate claims with TravelGuard from our WC 2017 and we were promptly paid. So sorry you are having issues.
  13. Yes, 1 wasn’t enough I guess! We are very lucky people!
  14. Not necessarily. Regent uses several different hotels in Miami. For the 2017 WC Gala the night before boarding, it was at the Biltmore. For the 2023 WC the Gala will be at the Mandarin Oriental, but we are assigned to the Intercontinental.
  15. Again, as others have said, there are some nice appetizers/canapés on the room service menu. These are available to everyone, regardless of what type of room suite you have.
  16. To my knowledge, no Regent assigned hotel In Miami offers parking as a part of the package. Most people who drive to Miami park in a garage near to their cruise terminal. Often, but not always, that will be Terminal J. Your assigned dock will be on your final cruise documents, but it’s always best to check which terminal (there are various websites that monitor this) the morning you are boarding. i believe your cannot reserve your garage space in advance, but from everything I’ve read, that should not be a problem.
  17. Cruiseej Thank you for all of your information. We are booked on a Silversea Antarctica trip in January of 2024, so I’m sure this will be very useful. In addition to the direct flights from the U.S. to Santiago that you mentioned, I believe there is also an AA direct flight from Dallas/Ft. Worth to Santiago.
  18. Did you look at the calendar version of your trip in My Account? That is where it will show up. I can’t remember when they let you know about your hotel, but I do know we have known our hotels for awhile for both a October 1 and a January 7 cruise.
  19. If you have already set up your My Account on the Regent website, then there’s not much more you can do but continue to check or ask your TA.
  20. BTW, if you go all the way to the bottom of the Regent opening page on the website and click on Resources, then FAQ, there is a lot of helpful information there.
