  1. So what did you do while in Seward? Did you see the Exit Glacier, did you tour any of the Kenai Fjords national park, did you see the aquarium? What do you have planned in Anchorage? There is a good museum, but Anchorage is spread out so you will need transportation.
  2. With an app bread and dessert that looks like a full meal to me. You can always stop by the WJ for a snack if the meal isn't enough
  3. If you want to see nature there are a lot of things to do in Seward. Anchorage is more built up and spread out.
  4. We had nice morning at the beach. It has been hard to get there this year. It was a cool rainy spring, a super hot summer, and red flags. This morning the weather was warm but not blazing, the water was perfect temperature, it was a yellow flag and a purple flag, but the waves were not that bad and the only sea life were some rays swimming by. Then it started to look like rain so we went to lunch and came home.
  5. I know, we usually eat more meals in the WJ then anywhere else. If we are tired from a busy day we will grab a bite in the WJ instead of a lengthy dinner in the MDR. I thought our cruise on the Radiance had really good food.
  6. What are you doing while in Seward? So many things to do there and now you have time to do them. Our favorite cruise of all time was on Radiance out of Seward.
  7. Or just go on a cruise and still have fun.
  8. They will all be adopted. We already have 4 cats and Reba will make 5. We have had more cats before and when we moved from Texas we had 7 old cats (6of whom have passed). I don't think my husband will go for keeping any although they already have my heart wrapped around their little paws.
  9. Reba had her kittens an hour ago. Three cute little babies. All looks good and I will try to get pictures as soon as I can.
  10. We cruise exactly as we did in 2019 with one exception. We bring a lot of OTC meds to cover anything that might come up.
  11. As long as there have been contagious diseases getting together in groups has been a a hazard.
  12. If you are the type of person who is still.paying attention to COVID numbers then maybe travelling is not for you.
  13. I hope it works for Jade. We have had such good luck with ours even with Reba who is not really used to us, a cat carrier or being inside. She didn't realize what was going on until she was inside and the door was closed since the opening is so large. The main thing is to get a good hold of the cat and firmly put them in. Do not hesitate.
  14. So when your neighbor two houses down has a cat show up and have three kittens in his bushes last spring. Then he gets them shots but doesn't get them fixed. Then the mom finds our front porch and being the suckers we are gets fed. Then it becomes obvious she is sweet and very pregnant. We bring her inside of course to a big bathroom. The vet says the blessed event should occur in 7 - 10 days and there are at least 3 little ones coming. Meet Reba.
  15. We like the key for that along with being able to drop stuff off early. The final morning is much more relaxed with the key too.
  16. My son lives about an hour from me and will continue to live in the same area. I love getting to see them often.
  17. I hadn't either until this happened. Since the Drs had checked for blood clots I knew it had to have been something else so I did a little research and that is what I came up with. Not being a Dr. it is just my uneducated guess.
  18. We had an Eastern Caribbean cruise on Serenade and I agree with you. The cruise only had a couple of sea days so not much time was spent on the ship.
