  1. Personally I've found that the French Captains have been nice. May not be as outgoing as Captains prior but never less nice and helpful ....
  2. The kids did not come on-board this last week. No ladies came on-board this last week but they did have nice flowers leis for everyone already made ... this may be a temporary thing 😉
  3. There are typically 3 passes ... First one is relatively easy. The next two more coral and a need to be able to turn 90 degrees. I've taken several times and have had no problems accept twice when I got scraped. The reason both times was because I was toward the rear of the 'line' and people in front of me stopped to take pictures, thus everyone was immediately in need of stopping quickly. I was in deeper water and could not easily stop and thus got scraped. Vendor stacks people to close together IMO. To avoid make sure your toward the front of the line.
  4. Last time we went the time was earlier ... I believe it was something like 10 AM - 3:00 PM But everything is in flux it maybe the time has changed.
  5. Should not be a problem to bring flowers aboard .... The 'Mamas' for the leis is hit a miss. We had them on-board in July but was told they were not on-board a week ago.
  6. Interestingly ... an old GoPro 5 but I do program to my liking. Thanks for the kind words. Tahaa drift snorkel
  7. That is the normal departure time .... they love leaving the lagoon with Mt Otemanu in the background.
  8. for the 7 night it is usually around 4:30 pm on day 2 ... but there are no guarantees.
  9. Drift is only offered in the morning. In the afternoon it can get windy and the current may switch. You can't even go over to the motu until 10 AM. You will arrive back at the motu around noon ... just in time for lunch 😉
  10. no problem for the PU. As far as the return you need to find out the last tender time. This changes based on the itinerary and if it is the 1st or 2nd day.
  11. The beautiful Kia Ora ... taken last July ... see you on-board
  12. There is a difference between the 24 hour room service menu and what your wanting ... I'm giving it to you right off the July flyers
  13. Keep in mind the tender times can change depending on itinerary ... mine stated 3:30 PM as the last tender on day 2.
  14. According to the last daily schedule I have breakfast room service doesn't start until 6:30 AM. I usually go up to the rear of deck 8 to the bar/lounge and they will make me a coffee drink starting around 6 AM
  15. You need to verify that PG had your prior trips on record. From their web page it appears Ponant doesn't have records prior to 2013 as far as your prior trips. They had my count incorrect ... I went back and found some records of all our prior trips on the PG and sent them to Ponant. Took awhile but they got the number corrected. Do any corrections prior to your cruise. But to answer your quest as long as they have at least one of your prior trips on your account you will get the free laundry 😉
