Read the tram doesn't stop at Kayak Beach/Fisherman Village/Golf Carts before heading to Resort World now and only stops on the way back? is that right?

What's FREE for kids to do at Cococay?
twins_to_alaska replied to dreamboat43's topic in Private Islands
From their literature: Most of the experiences at Perfect Day at CocoCay are complimentary. Some of these include Oasis Lagoon, the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean, the shipwrecked Captain Jill’s Galleon loaded with slides and water cannons, our biggest ever Splashaway Bay aqua park yet. Plus powdery sand beaches like Chill Island and South Beach, offering plenty of free beach chairs with umbrellas and beachside activities. And in between adventures, you can fuel up at five complimentary dining venues located throughout the island. -
OBC can definitely be used for excursions.. you didn't happen to reprice your cruise to one that didn't have the OBC? If so they usually then send email so you can pay for your excursions instead of losing them but there's a limited time to pay.

Prices can change multiple times in a day. On Jan 26 in the morning I repriced a cruise I had double booked down to solo as the price (subtracting the return of the fees/taxes for the bogus no show 2nd passenger) was only $36 higher. I hoped they had changed things but a few hours later it was hundreds of dollars higher again for solo.

Question: Celebrity Suite Deck 11 or 12 on Ascent
twins_to_alaska replied to Daleed77's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I was in sky suite 10123 on Ascent right behind the elevators and no noise from elevators at all. Super convenient for going up to Luminae and the Retreat lounge and sun deck. -
Are electric toothbrushes allowed?
twins_to_alaska replied to RossHaven's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I brought mine and the charger as it was too old to last long enough without charging. -
So best bet seems to book refundable for $100 and then can change the cruise to nonrefundable for cheaper later if want or cancel and get all back.

see this thread someone mentioned using the Summit showers daily when cabinmate used the cabin one

Buying Drink Package with Elite Happy Hour?
twins_to_alaska replied to Sunset329's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Excited to stop by the breakfast for bellini or mimosa for my first Elite sailing end of April. On land I drink less than 1 alcoholic drink per week and water so don't buy beverage packages. One time I bought the non-alcoholic on super sale for $16.99/day and even that didn't break even for me adding in non-alcoholic daiquiris. Just better for me to buy one or two during the cruise if I decide to get. -
@gerelmx. Yes, 2164 is available. It's the last on the hump so smaller balcony. 2166 next to it which is above these other two is also available. I was concerned that right below the Ocean View Cafe might have noise from above.

Thanks @Wineaux007 I was just concerned the camera might have lighting attached to it.

Trying to decide between Reflection C1 cabin 1132 or 1634, same location deck 10 or 11. See 1634 has a camera off that balcony. Does that add any extra lighting at night? I'd prefer it darker out on the balcony. thanks!

I was lucky to get it on the Ascent second pre-maiden voyage. I was in a suite but I still had that for lunch instead of Luminae. The shelled lobster tails were quite tasty I thought as well as the other seafood I ate.

Current 75% sale still charging singles 200%
twins_to_alaska replied to citruscruiser's topic in Celebrity Cruises
but don't they have practically zero closet space? I thought that's what I'd seen when I looked. I didn't mind the cabin size but the lack of closet storage was a big negative. -
I was on the pre-maiden Nov 26 Celebrity Ascent cruise in a sky suite. I met my retreat host Ivan and the head butler Miljan the first day. I wanted a short sleeve robe and a kettle, both of which arrived the first day. Their numbers were on cards in my room. I saw both of them frequently. Miljan let me know if I wanted cookies brought from Eden Cafe (he saw me coming back with a plate of desserts from there) or dinner from Luminae (I was masked outside my cabin and not eating in Luminae... often ate up a deck at the outside Retreat bar area) that I just had to ask. He said that he supervised all the requests/food being delivered. So for example, if I wanted a cheese plate in the afternoon, he said he looked it over before it went out. The 4 Retreat concierges got me a bottle of late harvest dessert wine to keep at the Retreat Lounge bar, fixed an issue with my account on the app, and interfaced with shoreside to fix another issue. I thought all the service was exemplary. No complaints.

I just made elite after my Ascent Nov 26 sailing. The PUP and GoGreen helped to push me over.

The edge S1 cabin is really fantastic. Bed facing balcony, huge bathroom with the mirror that opens to look over the bed and out to the balcony... not that I was using that option for that many minutes each day. 🙂 I did use/enjoy the real balcony. I agree that the Edge ship has plentiful beautiful useable spaces outside the Retreat area. Luminae was great, especially the last night (filet mignon and the Daniel Boulad milk chocolate pill), but during the short 3 days I got breakfast twice from Oceanview, had the fabulous Oceanview Extravaganza all-you-can-eat lobster tail lunch, tasty lunch from Le Grand Bistro, and desserts from Cafe al Bacio and Eden. I'd definitely eat lunch in Eden on a future cruise. I liked the silver mirrory walkway to Eden. My cruise points just got into my account and I'm now Elite!

Safe travels to you, @Georgia_Peaches. I left my cabin at 8:10 and got to my gate at FLL at 9:05. Flight boards 10:10. There was a back up on the ship exit ramp for a bit with no one moving but then just kept walking until outside. Lyft wasn't finding me a ride so after 7 minutes I switched to Uber. I've been cruising from MIA lately and forgot how nice and small FLL is. Baltimore is currently 30 feels like 22 (but warming up) so I'm going to miss bare arms this morning. I loved the Ascent (also my first time on Edge series). I talked to my retreat host Ivan and the head butler Miljan many times each day as they seemed to always be in the port deck 10 hallway. I didn't utilize their services as I didn't even have Ivan come into my room to clean/neaten. I got my dailies from him in the hallway and dumped my trash with him when he was cleaning other rooms. Miljan saw me coming back sea day with another plate of sweets from Eden and said he could have gotten someone to do that for me. But I needed to walk off the calories! Miljan said on the transatlantic trip over crew members got to eat in all the restaurants and give everyone practice working together. He had worked with many crew previously. He said he coordinates all the requests for the sky suites and farms the actual doings out to others. For future cruisers if you want services you should call your head butler and get acquainted.
