  1. I think the $200 remark was made as most of the "free" are usually $200 or less Maybe some are more for us Canadians on the Canadian site they are higher as they are in CAD $
  2. If a true "service animal" the cruise line cannot ask the owner to keep it in the cabin The question is IF it was a true service animal or not We have had service animals onboard some of out sailings they are on a harness with their service animal vest on & the owner requested people not to pet her when she is working Never saw the animal being fed from the table
  3. from O's contract the highlighted part was by me Do not think they meant feeding the animal from the table 17. PETS No pets or other animals, except for certain necessary service animals of a Guest with a disability, are allowed on board the Ship. Guests wishing to bring a service animal on board the Ship must notify Carrier at the time of booking the Cruise, and must receive Carrier’s written approval. Guest agrees to accept responsibility, reimburse and/or indemnify Carrier for any loss, damage or expense whatsoever related to the presence of any service animal brought on the Cruise, and to determine and meet any documentary or other requirements related to the service animal. Guest further agrees to be solely responsible for providing all food and/or other dietary requirements, medications or medical equipment required by the service animal. Passenger food, medications and/or medical treatment will not be provided by the Ship to any service animals https://www.oceaniacruises.com/Documents/Legal/10812/US-TicketContract.pdf
  4. I think the policy has changed since 2022 Oceania I do not think gives FCC for covid someone will correct me if not the case
  5. You should make friends with the owner & ask what the dog is used for The cruise line cannot ask but pax can ask 🙂 Whether the owner is truthful or not is another story We had one lady carrying her dog to the Terrace day one day 2 it was in a stroller after that we never saw either again
  6. YUP creative license I guess DH had runny egg on his He was not a happy camper 😉
  7. I think the O class the door is across from the w/c near the front entry We have never booked a connecting cabin
  8. Well I for one wish they would revert back to the old days when pax in the upper cabins could not book people from the lower 45 day window cabins with their time slot Us that do not book higher cat or have friends in high place will struggle to get a seating in the specialties at a time we prefer This is probably why many have to eat at 9pm
  9. It is not what normal people think of when you say Cobb Salad 😉
  10. What do you want to know ? The A to D cabins are all the same size (some exceptions apply) approx 165 Sq ft A & B cat have balconies C & D are outside only If you want more space book a PH or above
  11. I would read up on the area then decide many went to see the arch sadly it collapsed a few years ago Depends on your interests
  12. OK I found 8-10 interested people on the roll call for my private tour one operator had a set price for the van max pax 12 I like to keep my tours small & find some of the vans even though they say 12 it is more comfortable with 8 Enjoy
  13. The bus icon is Minimal activity so my guess is it is more of a drive around than actually getting off & exploring the area just a guess though
  14. What if you have 10 people ? Some guides offer tours with a set price for the van with a maximum number of people I think I had 8 or 10 so just divided the cost between us
  15. But not pets they are supposed to be service animals Not sure on Cats but I guess if a Cat is trained they might be also allowed but I have not seen one on a ship that we have been on As per the other posts if they say they are a support animal the cruise line has no choice they must allow them onboard but the owners can lie about their status There is a difference in pets & service/support animals
  16. What does your dog do for you? Do you feed it from the table in the restaurants ?
  17. Must be in our DNA also except for the mushy peas I am not sure what Canadian food is if we have one other than Indigenous & it is not served in many areas near us I grew up with British/Irish grandparents & Italian s/father I like most cuisines When in the U.K I did not notice much difference in what we have in Canada other than more places serving cream tea DH s parents are British Kippers are not in his DNA he would run screaming from the house when his Dad would cook them 😉 Maybe no British cooks on Oceania to show them the right way to cook things someone needs to show them how to make scones that is for sure
  18. Probably but I would check the amount of the credit now it may be less than before
  19. Agree answer to part one YES Part 2 it keeps me calm 😄🍷
  20. Exactly But people do not have to say what the disability is Some people lie so their PET can be with them
  21. Yes you can buy later in the cruise & will pay for the remaining days
  22. Wonder what they would serve on Canadian night ??😄
  23. Yes book your slots then when their time come call & ask to seated together for extra reservations ask at the reservations desk on deck 5 & see if they can accommodate you & your friends If not maybe just eat together in the GDR
