  4. Yes I think your TA can try to get the Cabin you want if available I usually ask what cabins are open I like to choose my location
  5. What happens if you do not give them a photo ahead of time?
  6. most river cruise want you off by 9 am if you overnight there you can probably get off anytime you want
  7. some cruises the GDR 1 st night has line ups other cruises it is the Terrace that is the zoo there is no telling what you will get 😄
  8. Most US policies do not cover Canadians Be sure to ask if booking via a USA insurer
  9. https://www.rsagroup.ca/ https://gowithtips.com/ I get them through my TA Other recommend Manulife as well If you were a city employee check with MROO.org
  10. We book with a insurance company or broker We have had to use our insurance on a couple of trips We buy trip cancellation/interruption ins we get medical through DH retirement package They paid up it took a month or so When spending $$$ on a cruise you never know when things can go sideways Keep all your documents until you are home just in case We used RSA & T.I.P.S
  11. Just ask for your passport the night before then you just return them to the Purser on your return
  12. OOPS need coffee before CC Oh well I am sure they will find a solution OP Near the end of the cruise I would take some $$ & pay off the balance of the onboard account We do that on other lines that are notorious for converting the OB balance to CAD then bill our CC
  13. Put the money in your bank account Use your credit card to pay your onboard account then just pay it off with your "gift funds " Buy Euro at home if your bank has a good rate or again get some at a bank/Atm in your destination city (you will be flying in the day before) correct? Check if your bank charges a fee to use foreign ATM's It still may work out better than carrying USD & exchanging them onboard JMO
  14. On shore Euro On the ship they usually put the gratuity on you shipboard account if you want to give extra cash probably Euro so the crew can use it ashore for personal items they need
  15. yes looking forward to checking that place out after the bakery of course 😉
  16. No I have the ones like Bottle shield so do not need more bags 😉
  17. The PDF file works fine but the page link reverts to the CAD site no wonder Phil is confused LOL
  18. Well it is confusing as that is the bar menu at the top of the page for the Beverage package on the Canadian site not sure what the US site looks like 😉
  19. Yes I think that menu we see in Canada is not included in the package https://www.oceaniacruises.com/sites/default/files/2023-01/Oceania-Premier-Spirits-Menu.pdf It is their new Premier drinks
  20. I have the bottle bags works for special bottles of scotch/cognac DH wants to bring home Or wine heavy plastic cover with bubble wrap inside Check out Bottle Shield
  21. There are lots of sample drink menus care to share witch one you are talking about ?
  22. Maybe O will start only allowing 1 bottle of wine per person to be brought onboard like other lines 😈 NO beer or spirits That would certainly solve the problem with the cheaters 🤔
