  1. So far but there is something new in the works come July Maybe see if the O club Ambassador has any news on it ?
  2. It was mentioned that Privee will have 2 of the La Reserve menus but not how that works for booking
  3. I usually ask my TA to check the cruise line rate before I decide
  4. got it I usually watch the exchange rate & stockpile USD when the rates are good A few years back we got a bunch when the USD/CAD were at par or very close I am down to my last $3000 USD so just use the CAD rate from the cruise line now 😉
  5. When we have booked in USD the final prices was locked in never had the cruise line change it due to fluctuating exchange rates We have booked up to 18 mths in advance
  6. It is a good idea for anyone I will pack a copy of my POA just incase You never know what rules apply in other Countries so having it with you will show that you have permission from the person you are with to speak for them incase they cannot it is a good idea in my book Thanks for bringing this up
  7. You would probably have to ask O why they are priced as such 😉
  8. You can take your drink from a bar to dinner no problem Taking your drink from your cabin from bottles you brought onboard is the issue Reading & Comprehension also seems to be a problem with some 🙄
  9. I would let the purser & the room staff know Also a number where you can be reached incase they move the ship 😉
  10. I think if you compare the exchange rate the cruise line uses & if your CC charges a FTF or not then you can make an informed decision that works best for you I pay the cruise in CAD but the cruise line rate has been close to the bank rate if I would to buy USD it would be close We do have a USD account at TD alont with a USD VISA card I usually just use the USD VISA on the ship to secure any overspending but lately we have lots of OBC from the cruise loyalty program that I have not had any charges at the end of the cruise YMMV
  11. I had posted early that there the is a change coming Mid July it was on a video with FDR JR but should be available to view so maybe then https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2936176-o-life-is-changing/
  12. They usually do on the other ships so I am guessing it will be the same job on Vista
  13. Thanks Steamboats all the food & photos of the ship are just great Cannot wait to try the Bakery & Ember as well as many other things onboard Thank for sharing
  14. JMO If you have an issue with food , service or anything tell someone in management at the time of the issue if you do not mention the problem at the time they cannot fix it When you get home there is not much they can do to make it right for you YMMV
  15. Too bad it was not good As others said I hope you mentioned the food issue to the GM or someone in authority while onboard Not getting ice is just poor staff & should have been reported to the head housekeeper or the GM
  16. Maybe they are used to more inclusive & dressy cruises & depending on where they went i can be quite different If you all like the itinerary & it fits your budget give them a try Go with an open mind
  17. Since it is for your daughter's big birthday why not let her decide & those that do not like the choice they can stay home

    Miami Hotel

Hotels in Florida or anywhere for that matter are OTT these days unless staying at a flea bag place 🙂 Try the Florida departures forum https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/386-florida-departures/
  21. Maybe join the roll call for your sailing & see what others are doing Maybe some will have private tours to share https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2888414-oceania-sirena-july-27-2023-venice-to-monte-carlo/#comment-65270770
  22. You would need to deal with the 3rd party booking agency & their terms for cancellation If he had Parkinson's before he booked the insurance may not cover any cancellation penalties Read the Terms & conditions of the company he booked the cruise through also the insurance policy JMO
  23. https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/travel-voyage/bgb-rmf-eng.html You must meet the minimum age of the province or territory where you enter Canada. Minimum ages are established by provincial or territorial authorities: 18 years for Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec and 19 years for the remaining provinces and territories. The CBSA classifies "cooler" products according to the alcoholic beverage they contain. For example, beer coolers are considered to be beer and wine coolers are considered to be wine.
