We sailed the Insignia in the Irish sea during a force nine gale a bit bumpy but so was Riviera in the Atlantic during a storm
If you suffer from "the motion of the ocean" take meds with your
Look at the itinerary it should tell you if you go into the fjords or not
Yes we both have watches & bathrobes, new suitcase to haul the booty home 😉
DH had 3 watchers he does not need anymore IMO he thinks otherwise though 😄
Yes they do not make it easy for people to understand some of their offers & rules
I have a good TA so leave the heavy lifting to her 😉
Hopefully someone in the UK can shed some light on the issue for you
I looked also for the double dipping rules here but nothing so far
Some offers are not combinable might be something in the T & C fine print on Oceania website under Legal at the bottom of the page
Not sure if different rules in the UK apply
I am amazed people book a cruise & have no idea anything about the cruise line & what it offers
Do people not read what your cruise offers or is included ?
I know many do not read the fine print but at least check what is or is not included in you cruise fare

That is how it usually works
But sailing day the Officers are very busy
We have had the M & G a day or so later & officers were there depending on who was available
We have had 100plus so usually just bring blank name tags for people to fill out when they arrive
My TA has given us OBC but makes it clear it is Non Refundable
Make sure you clarify the source of the OBC & if is truly REFUNDABLE sometimes it is a pass through from the cruise line
We have had REFUNDABLE OBC that we did not spend & we got cash on the last full day of the cruise from reception
The phone the cabin to tell us to collect it before the evening
We are not foodies but we do like other things about Oceania that keeps us coming back
Jacques is too fancy for our tastes
Plant based foods too yuppie for us 😄
I like Polo DH is not a Fan
I like RG for the most part
DH could eat in Toscana every night if he could
GDR usually has something good we will like
We have never gone hungry so I am sure we will survive with Ember & other venues
We try to avoid the Terrace for Breakfast & dinner
If you are not a fan of a certain venue then just do not go there others that like that venue will thank you
If they find some restaurants are empty they might just make changes to that menu
I do not have to cook the food or do the dishes so I am happy with whatever
YMMV
coughing without covering your mouth/nose is rude
DH has allergies but he does cover his face if he is sneezing & now has some cough from our recent (Feb) bout of covid
The difference whether you attempt to not spread the germs or not
Long before cough we had "cruise cough" from people walking around just coughing into the air with no attempt not spread their germs
We seemed to end up sick on most of our cruises
JMO
That is YOUR fav but not everyones
We will take Halibut or haddock not a fan of Cod but then it depends on where the cod is sourced
Tonight it is Perch & chips 😃
😄 No Oceania is more subdued than Virgin I am sure
Maybe not as lively as you may want just depends on what you like
Food is subjective but we have not gone hungry on Oceania yet 😉
Always seem to bring home a few lbs extra
Enjoy
😲 How rude
Do they know what that artwork costs it is not Park West crap
If that is they type of pax that are migrating to O glad we are nearing the end of our cruising time
Will stick to other modes of travel
It does not hurt to ask for an FCC
It is tricky to spend that much if you are not a big drinker or a spa person
I had more than that & came home with a bunch of stuff we really did not need
Still have some shirts with the tags on them LOL
