  1. The simplest explanation is most likely the truth - she's lying
  2. $100 or $200 deposits seem to be all that was risked. Book all the cruises you think you might be interested in, and later just don't show up if you don't want to. Normal cruisers risk thousands if they don't show up. Carnival seems to have added wording to the offers of a penalty for no shows. Why would they do that?
  3. The highlight of Mosta is the Rotunda of Mosta, or Mosta Dome. It is known for surviving an aerial bomb during WWII that hit during Mass, but failed to explode. A miracle. Design based on the Pantheon, it is the 3rd largest unsupported dome in the world.
  4. We passed by Mdina and Rabat on the way to Mosta, but will return
  5. The rest of the cruise was port day after port day. First up was Malta. A favorite port we rarely get to.
  6. I'd bet a most aren't unless perhaps one of the casino party cruises. But the $25 credit, like the tournaments, were just promotions. Promotions come and go. I will be interesting to see what comes from the agreement with Bally's. Personally, I'm kind of curious what Bally's is going to offer Diamonds. I'm glad that Carnival has finally figured out many gamblers are no shows and are adding penalties for that.
  7. I was pleased that the cheese plate was not the pathetic plate served on the Carnival Glory the previous month. Or maybe it was just the shape of the cheeses?
  8. I don't know if they moved this thing around or had more than one
  9. Two completely different experiences and food. Book it. https://www.carnival.com/-/media/images/explore/dining/menus/il-viaggio-menu.pdf
  10. I wonder why a check recipient doesn't call Carnival and ask where the money came from. I'll theorize that some future cruise credits expired, and Carnival, being overly generous, decided to refund the money instead of keeping it.
  11. I needed to adjust the upper shower head holder - it was upside down and the shower head would never have fit the way it was assembled. and, of course, the balcony... Not the best view in this direction but oh my... They had to raise the deck to eliminate the step to get onto the balcony and install the electric door. There was an issue with the door one time, but it mostly worked. The entrance door to the cabin did have some issues that they may still be working on. Sometimes it wouldn't close, but swing back and forth and if you made it mad, an alarm would scream.
