  1. Carnival differences Funships Guys Burgers Comedy Clubs Piano Bars Etc Bribes to cruise? Exit to RCL Carnival's target market has always been novice cruisers. Okay dinner has arrived. Peace out
  2. We agree to disagree. Carnival Cruise isn't looking for customers who need a perk to cruse Carnival. They want customers who like the brand for what it is. When one resource has been exhausted, it makes no sense to abuse a second and irritate other customers. No company retains 100% of customers and to grow the business requires new customers. New customers are where it's at and novice cruisers (and gamblers - who basically cruise free) are Carnival's target markets, it seems. Everyone else who wants the Funship is welcome, but not at the expense of the target market.
  3. Resources are limited on a cruise line and have to be shared by all the entitles. As it is, Carnival rewards bad behavior too often .Better to let them go than encourage more bad behavior.
  4. BLTs and fries for breakfast, because why not? Room service never takes a bacation.
  5. Good chance for aurora tonight, but with 100% cloud cover, 0 % chance of seeing. But maybe there will be some clearing later.
  6. Approaching Tracy Arm. 71 degrees in the cabin and 53 on the balcony. Found some sprinkles.
  7. Same here. Really liked the Arancini and the expression on the faces of the people who saw "Crab" and ordered because of that, having no clue what arancini is. When it showed up, surprise!
  8. Should have done these pictures differently... From the Diamond lunch today...
  9. Maybe. Maybe not. They have survived past dry docks. I'm good either way, but am a little surprised when many cruisers don't even notice that there are tablecloths on the tables.
  10. For those who pine for the good old days, Spirit still has tablecloths.
  11. First two nights menus: QR-D1-Dining-Room-01-2024 - Copy.pdfQR-Feast-1-Dining-Room-01-2024 - Copy.pdf
  12. Time lapse - Carnival Spirit sailing away from Seattle. Somewhere in there the orcas appear, but are tiny in this version.
  13. I'm always amazed some get to Diamond without knowing how the system works. All loyalty programs are just marketing. Nothing is earned or owed and it all can disappear with or without notice.
