  1. When I'm on any Princess ship I always had food in one hand and a drink in the other at all times. 😛
  2. Darn, I didn't even see it being available. I would have like to have tried it...just for the heck of it.
  3. If that's what they were implying it's been many years since any crew member has used one. 99 % of them have the unlimited crew package & stay in contact during the day.
  4. That's the advantage of having a phone & letting it play while in your pocket on the way to lunch. 😁
  5. Considering the flakey Medallion app, people who use their phones to watch it won't be bothered my anyone to check in again. We just started it up on the phone & proceeded to lunch, stopping by our check in area afterwards. I love this new system as I've heard the spiel so many times I could repeat it from memory.
  6. The way I understand it, you'll only get $250 OBC for it being over 14 days since you booked it as one cruise. If you had booked as 2 cruises, say 2-18 day trips you would have qualified for twice the credit. 1 to 6 days= $50 7 to 13 days= $100 14 days and more= $250
  7. Thankfully it's only on Alaskan cruises and not any of mine.
  8. We've got $50 per person OBC designated for tours on our next cruise. I really don't want to do any tours. Can it be used for other things like in the shops, specialty dining or casino? It's the first time I've even had any OBC like this.
  9. It would be comforting to have received an email that your request was received & they're working on it.
  10. Waaay over priced unless you consider getting a notebook, cookbook, writing paper or a robe as being that valuable. We've got numerous robes that fit much better so it's not something we need. We've also seen many of the bridges on all the different class ships, so nothing new there. When they begin a tour of the engine room it's something that might make my DH sign up but the rest of the stuff is something worthless stuff to us. There are still many people who will pay the price once it begins again.
  11. You can say that again. There are just too many questions to be answered. Unless they shorten the survey after the first 2 dozen questions it becomes repetitive & useless. No more surveys for me. No one reads them anyway. The only thing I feel sorry for is some of the crew that asked me specifically to mention them for a good rating.
  12. In our case it's definitely not an excuse but a statement of truth. We just plain dislike dressing up just to have a god meal in the restaurant. We also drive to all our cruises and don't have a problem with overweight packing. Princess has become a cruise line that provides both the decent food and now has a relaxed dress code that is more than tolerant for those on both sides of the aisle.
  13. That's why their safety protocols are a complete farce. Wearing a mask in only certain parts of some ships doesn't prevent transmitting any virus especially when sitting close to others in their restaurants. Their half hearted attempts are only to calm the people who are overly concerned and don't do much good.
  14. I think you're confusing Princess with Cunard. 😉
  15. Considering the extra amount of cleaning that Covid required from the cabin steward in each cabin on a daily basis this routine may well be the standard until it's not necessary any longer.
  16. It might make it harder then ever to get reservations for the exact time you want. On our last trip Sabatini's was booked solid and the Premier package wasn't even around at that point.
  17. I know that Princess does say shorts aren't to be worn in the DR for dinner but whey you see numerous people (men and women) wearing them on casual evenings it's hard to tell my husband not to put his on also. True, but what they publish is nothing like you may see aboard the ships. Especially now since the return from Covid things have become more relaxed then ever. I suppose they don't want to offend any of their customers.
  18. On our last trip on the Enchanted the "printed dress code" was nowhere to be found. If you hadn't taken the time to find it before leaving, the only information received on the ship was on top of the patter designating it a formal or casual evening. Once arriving at the DR it was also hard to tell the difference between the two by appearance.
  19. You can still request fresh towels without having the bathroom cleaned at night.
  20. I suppose that might be an even trade off at that. Or an ev. 😉😉
  21. It was fine on the Enchanted but the only place where you could get it was from room service. If you wanted it for lunch at the buffet you had to remember to order it as soon as you sat down to eat as it took about 20 minutes to arrive.
  22. Just wait until they get washed a dozen times & go through the super hot dryer. 😄
  23. Nope. One size fits all, or not.
