  1. The health tool on PCL should show requirements. However, I would carry my vax certificate with me, as you may need to show a copy once onshore. If PCL does not require a covid test to board, according to their health tool, if you are required to have the test, then they provide the test OB for free. They usually test 2 days before arrival. Because of so many changes we cruise with our vax certificates and some covid tests for our own peace of mind.
  2. Good to hear. Responses on your inquiry were on roll call too. Best of luck.
  3. I’m so sorry for your friends, it is a very costly mistake. Princess is very clear on the requirements. Princess must make sure passengers have the correct documents or face hefty fines. The TA should have known better. The TA may be held responsible if anything was documented. Or, if they have CFAR insurance, they should be able to file a claim. Whatever, the case, I wish them luck.
  4. I wonder if it is a new policy? I was told for missing 2 ports on the Crown…. it will be refunded on your original credit card. Told by GS crew and GS officer. Never…has this been the case. It should show up on folio on the day that the port was missed as a credit. Once your off the ship, it is difficult.
  5. Did you call PCL to cancel? I just cancel on the website and it usually shows up on my CC in a few days to a week. Did you look on your booking on the cruise personalizer? It may still be on there. If it is, just cancel it on the booking on cruise personalizer. If you don’t see it, I’d call and verify it was cancelled through PCL or a TA if you did it through them.
  6. Chris, I am so sorry for your loss. Did you use a CVP or TA who could help? The email for customer relations is below..not sure they can help really fast? customerrelations@princesscruises.com I would probably contact Jan Swartz team for help, if it was me. Jswartz@princesscruises.com I’m going to email you too. Take care, Tonna
  7. Wow! Sounds like a movie. We sailed around the horn March 2020 on the Coral Princess and had smooth, beautiful seas. Well, until we got past the Falklands… the seas were smooth still…but the Covid put a pause on us. 😮 Have a great trip!
  8. It was about the same time as if you already had it. Don’t be annoyed. Just a couple of weeks ago at San Pedro.
  9. Wow! I’d store breakable or lose objects in your drawers and get food from the lido for your refrigerator in case you don’t feel like trying to get out of the cabin. Get 7up, crackers or ginger ale for your tummy. How far South if this system? Let us know how it goes. Best of luck!
  10. We only do longer Carnival “Journey’s “ which are great and loved the Mediterranean inaugural sailings with Carnival. We won’t do short sailings less than 10 days with them. We have status on both lines and RCCL also. Enjoy the vibe of longer PCL cruises more. JMHO
  11. No BP any longer. Just print your luggage tags and travel summary for your records from the website cruise personalizer. The boarding groups open on the app from 59 days to 12 days prior to sailing. It really varies.
  12. Yes. It has been 12 days before our sailing. Don’t worry. Depends on port clearance.
  13. You could read their roll call and ask if you want? Sounds more like an isolated issue with the Magestic in Australia. The OP didn’t come back on to comment on this thread.
  14. Quote feature not working. select and copy works. @hpeabody is working.
  15. IHC. Those Intercontiental Hotels were great. Great memories for you.
  16. Yes, I know. My question to @Yehootu was it PAA? Pan American Airways? They flew to PPG.
  17. Recently, any where from 59 days to 12 days before sailing. Depends on ship and port clearance. IF you’re referring to boarding group times.
  18. Covid levels in Pago Pago, per Tisa at Tisa’s barefoot bar, no cruise-ships until next year.
  19. The cabin steward gives everyone a test, you complete it and show the results to the steward. Probably will retest every one a couple of days before Samoa stop, as other ships have been doing. The Grand and the Magestic.
  20. So, how many days are you in now? Is your test now on day 6? How about your DBF? Is he negative? If he shows positive, do you start your 5 days again? TIA
