  2. Isn’t this the ship that had over 800 covid cases, coming into Sydney, just recently? It needs extreme measures to sanitize everything. That could be why. Ask someone OB, why? Your cruise may be okay.
  3. I hope she doesn’t wait on hold that long! Depends on the ship and how many cases.
  4. Call room service, as they should be notified by medical and guest services that you are quarantined. You should be able to order off the TV or phone App for meals. Ask RS, since you’re quarantined, what you can order, free of charge. Tell housekeeping what you need every day as far as linens, tpaper, soap, tissues, etc. The Medical dept sends an email to RS, so they know. Takes a day and a reminder when you call RS for you to get on the quarantined list for meal service. Some ships no longer have a form letter for the protocols. IDK why. If you need Medical, GS should give you the direct line for them. When you are finished with your quarantine, ask medical for a medical report to take home, in case you need it for your insurance or Dr at home. Good luck and let us know how you’re doing.

  6. Just like pre covid. Those werre the good old days! 😆 Not the case if you’re on an enhanced voyage though.
  7. Don’t stress. We’ve been on 8 cruises just this year and I uploaded our vaccine proof and later our covid test proof (was required for an enhanced cruise). I would just upload vax proof, just in case you may need it, as things change very quickly. It is a digital record for you. They ALL wanted to see original passport, vax card and covid test. So, you must bring your original documents with you. Of course, whatever has been required. Always been the case. The QR code comes after you’ve done your checkin and selected a boarding group, which is usually available about 59-12 days prior to sailing. For your own benefit, print your luggage tags and travel summary. PCL does suggest this.
  8. Yes, if they test OB, it is free. If you’re on an Enhanced Voyage, expect self testing in your room, and results shown to your cabin steward. They provide the tests, of course.
  9. The Crown that left Nov 9th, just a few days ago, was on the enhanced voyages list. 28 day South Pacific. Fully vaccinated, 1 booster and covid test within 3 days of sailing.
  10. I have another question… since you are exposed and in the same cabin as DH….do they allow you out of the cabin? Wearing a mask, of course. Seems protocols may be changing?
  11. Are they testing you, because you’re in the same cabin? What are they allowing for dining? Specialty restaurants and wine, complimentary? I know some ships have done this previously, not sure if they do now? TIA

  16. Thank you for responding. Not happy MDR not open for lunch! Hope it is tmrw. Are you having rough seas? Pouring down again in San Pedro now. Also, disgusting that deck 10 sewage not fixed in dry dock. Don’t want to deal with that. Could be my last cruise on an old ship. Are you staying on?

  18. Yes, look in your filters. If offered on that route, you can pick Delta and First/business/premium or regular coach. You have filters to specify. Not always offered on all routes.
  19. Not this one now. I threw the little plastic circle one away, cheap. It did have a little loop on top for the enclosed lanyard. Hold onto your holder above, you may prefer that one.
  20. Our recent ones came with a circle plastic holder with a loop. Just big enough to hold the OM. It has a loop on top of the circle too. Very cheap looking. Ours fits into the rubber PCL bracelets and my gold PCL bracelet, no problem. This was only 2 weeks ago.
  21. They arrive 10-14 days prior, usually. You can always pick up at the port if they don’t come in time. If you really want to…you can cancel the order, go into order history and reorder picking the pickup at port.
  22. There is an opt out page on PCL and an opt out for third parties also. I’d make sure to opt out all those. Also, did you request a CVP at one time? That generates call backs.   23. Mine is the the same size and the gold bracelet fits the same. That’s odd.
  24. Any restaurants closed or SD? How many guests are expected for Nov 9th sailing? TIA
