We will be flying into Tampa to spend a few days with family prior to a cruise out of Miami. We plan to leave early the day of the cruise to drive to Miami and return our rental and taxi to the ship. If we leave by 6am, should we be ok time wise? It will be a Monday. Thanks

We were on the Royal last week and were invited as Ruby due to low numbers of Elite and Platinum. As our next cruise is 15 days and we will be Platinum, we went the last 2 nights to see. There was very sparse attendance, maybe 8 people. The piano player was good and the snacks were tasty. DD and I enjoyed the beverages as a change from our usual, DH ordered his usual. It is definitely an event we will go to again.

We have only done 1 Princess cruise since the start of DMW. That was in Reserve Class which is unavailable for an upcoming cruise. What is the best dining room on the Emerald for a private table for 2 with same wait staff? TY

Where in Curaçao would you recommend for a beach with Col hair and umbrella rentals and what do you use for transport?

Do they have pool noodles to assist with floating? My DH is not a strong swimmer and is concerned about drift snorkeling.

Yes we did. The luggage appeared to be all off when we walked through the terminal but there looked like a lot of it to search through. If you are on Royal Princess, try using the forward or aft elevators, not mid ship!!!

We just used them yesterday. We got off the Royal around 8, you go straight down middle aisle to station R. We checked in, got on the van and waited about 10-15 minutes, and were on our way by 8:30. We had a 12:10 flight and had plenty of time. I definitely would recommend the service.

His over charge was removed late last night after I went back to guest services. My DD and I are relaxing in the Sanctuary today and all drinks have ended up on her. I think that is fitting since we pay for her anyway. Lol. I was told by the Sabatini’s manager the waiters tend to put all on one for quickness. They really need to fix this.

We have been cruising this week on the Royal. Our issue is drink orders placed in the MDR are all being credited to DH. DD and myself are each having 2 glasses of wine with meals. Numerous trips to Guest Services has not fixed it nor has his last evening over charge been removed even after we were told it would be.

I have a question. We have cruised Celebrity with a drink package for several years. There is no drink limit on Celebrity. When ordering wine in the MDR, our glasses are topped off frequently with only 1 “charge” showing up on our account. Is this handled the same way on Princess or is each glass of wine equivalent to one “charge” at dinner?

Trying to convince my DH this is better then a B2B on Sapphire or Coral but he is not going for it. Will keep trying!

So happy to read you are enjoying cruising again. I know you have said how much you are enjoying the Sapphire. We are looking to do a similar trip in 2025 and are debating between the Coral and the Sapphire. Which would you recommend? We do book mid aft on Caribe deck for the half covered balcony. Enjoy the rest of your trip. Hope all is well with your mom, have traveled and worried about elderly parents. It is not easy.

That is the deposit amount I see in Princess too. I have not seen $200 deposit.

We are looking at either the Grand 17 day or the Ruby 22 day. My TA site says $800 non refundable deposit but the Princess site with same price says $800 refundable. Has the deposit been refundable for others? We are cruising this month so would wait until on board to book, but DH is cabin particular.

We are Ruby so cannot see pricing or cabin availability today. Can a TA see this today? Will it be available early tomorrow or after 8am west coast time? thanks

I was able to add our DD to the plus package thru my TA when we booked. I would call again for sure.

Also is this possible if doing a B2B?

This is similar to what Celebrity did after the New Year. We were cruising early in the year and final payment had been months earlier. Room service switched to continental breakfast only free and delivery fee and gratuity to a hot breakfast or any room service after 11am. Our DD who likes to sleep in had fruit and danish only for breakfast.

My DD and I went to the CC desk on the ship the first cruise we did after she turned 18. Her points were all on file and she was issued a CC number with the correct status.

I also was told no for our January 2024 cruise when I called a few weeks ago. I may try again closer to the cruise.

Has any one been able to upgrade only for 1 person while on the ship?

Is there any update on the possible strike?

Are the Good Spirits drinks covered with Plus?
