  1. While I'd generally agree with you, given that the OP apparently lives in Florida, I think their risk level is reasonable.
  2. Thanks for all the responses. Ordering two drinks at once doesn't work well for me as by the time I have finished the first one the ice in my other scotch and cranberry will have melted.
  3. I found another description of the beverage package on the Princess site that reads "fresh juices and healthy smoothies (unlimited juice bar)". This leads me to believe that the description in my original post is somewhere between poorly written and erroneous.
  4. Princess Plus includes "smoothies and an unlimited juice bar". I've got all the details about the juice bar, but I can't find anything about the smoothies. Where and when are the smoothies available? To me, who won't be availing myself of either, they kind of sound like the same thing, but Princess lists them as separate benefits. Thanks.
  5. Dinner can easily run an hour and a half. I know many of you will be shocked, even scandalized, but I might want more than one drink. This is where I understand significant delays occur. OK, I can plan ahead and anticipate a delay, but if anyone has an idea to expedite a drink later in the meal, or answers to the other questions in my original post, I would be grateful.
  6. Last I knew, Princess has neither bar waiters nor sommeliers in the MDRs and getting drinks can be a chore. I assume that the #1 way around this is to sit at the same table each night and the #2 way is to order something as soon as you've been seated. Beyond that, I'm looking for advice. Is it easier to get beer and wine than cocktails? Does Ocean Now work in the dining rooms? (I'm thinking not.) Any advice is appreciated. I'm guessing that this is not an issue in the specialty restaurants.
  7. All my research, on both CC and the Princess site, says there's no charge for food at the International Cafe. What am I missing?
  8. Thanks for the responses. (I actually did say when I'm sailing - almost two months.) There is only one port where we leave before 6:00, so there's plenty of time. There's also only one port that has more than one other ship calling, and that one is less than 600 passengers. This doesn't have a tremendous impact on me as I will be doing mostly third party tours or touring on my own, although I'll only do an afternoon tour with Princess, and wish there were more. I've got to believe there will be a lot of unhappy passengers about this. Not everyone wants or knows to start booking so far out.
  9. My voyage is almost two months away and I'm already seeing about a third of the shore excursions sold out. Are they really sold out, or does Princess hold spaces back for on board booking? I also see almost no afternoon tours. How likely is it that Princess will add afternoon departures where the morning is sold out?
  10. Great, thanks for the replies.
  11. Is there any advantage to booking the Ultimate Balcony Breakfast or Dinner before boarding? Can I select the dates, or are they chosen by Princess?
  12. Thanks, but not sure how to find the Sommelier.
  13. OK, I've done my homework now and see that UBD is $55 per person and the winemaker dinner is $140 (with multiple reports that as recently as last year it was $40). Can anyone chime in on the other two?
  14. Information that, by multiple accounts, is now wrong.
  15. Excellent info. Can you advise the price for each?
  16. Thanks. This is what I wanted to know. We're inside two months. I'll keep checking.
  17. When is this information posted? My Journey View isn't showing it.
  18. When I first saw 3:00 as my PE departure time, I thought it was an error. I now see that it isn’t. It was always my impression that the on board crew, shoreside crew and provisioners had to work pretty much flat out to get a ship ready to sail by 5:00. I realize that formerly not many people boarded in the last two hours, but it still seems like a major change. Any insights on this (when/why/how) would be appreciated. I searched the forum for “3:00” and found nothing.
  19. I'm guessing that, after 48+ hours with no posts citing a Princess website mention of Anytime Dining, there isn't one.

It was not. I would not have hesitated to write about it if it was.
  21. The OP would be well advised to have his medallions mailed. I only see references to picking them up.
