C&A points are based on how the room is booked, not who actually stays in the room. If it was booked as double, you will not get the extra solo point, regardless if only you stayed in the room. Can't have your cake (KSF discount) and eat it too (extra solo point).

My past couple of pre or post cruise stays have been in the UK. Next are in Spain and Italy. It's going to be weird driving overseas on the right side of the road. --------- I had taken several trips to the UK and Ireland. My next trip was to Denmark; picked up the rental car, came to a stop sign to make a left turn. Thinking to myself: I'm suppose to go the right side of the road after I turn, right? 😄

Just saying. Suite lounge machine was better on that sailing.

I could see that the effort (splitting Pinns) could be worth it if you combine all the loopholes (drink package avoidance, balcony discount, coastal kitchen).

The "perk" is access to Suite Lounge, CK, and Suite sun deck.

Liberty Crown Lounge coffee machine was broken all 9 days on my sailing.

Non suite Pinns have to use vouchers in the suite lounge.

FYI - Quantum class Suite lounge is all the way aft and on a different floor than Coastal Kitchen (starboard Windjammer entrance hallway).

Note that they are on Anthem (Quantum class). IIRC, only Oasis class has the 11a to 11p water, soda, beer, wine.

Did the same itinerary in Sept. 2023. We did miss Saint John so we could avoid a hurricane heading up the coast. Headed back to Cape Liberty early. We had a port day in Cape Liberty. 😄

I only wanted ONE piece of luggage on my cruise, since I was taking a train and Lyft to/from the port. It wasn't any harder for me to "drag around" a large (4-wheel) suitcase than a two-wheel carry-on.

Beware of the speed cameras. I apparently was caught twice (about 20 minutes apart) near Mont Saint-Michel. That was May 2022. The rental car company charged me (€19.99 x 2) for handing over my info to the authorities, but haven't received anything further.

Do you know if they have "adult" JR shakes on Oasis?

I carried on a large suitcase at Cape Liberty; plenty of room going through the scanner.
