  1. MTD rooms are American Icon and Silk (deck 4). They are also used for early dining, prior to seating MTD guests.
  2. Connect to the ships wifi Go to login.com on your web browser Follow the prompts https://www.cruiseswithfriends.com/blogs/2023/connecting-to-royal-caribbeans-wifi
  3. On Anthem last October. Did not seem to get notifications from my cabinmate, but did get notifications when chatting with another cabin.
  4. There is no specialty dining perk that comes with Diamond status. The BOGO specialty dining perk starts at Diamond Plus tier.
  5. Note that the Royal Caribbean app (required for the chat feature) requires iOS 15 or higher. iPhone 6s is the oldest that supports iOS 15.
  6. The Crown lounge is a windowless room in the "dungeon" (deck 4)
  7. They won't be able to find the Diamond lounge. 😉
  8. Have you tried mbayley@rccl.com (RCI) before escalating to J Liberty (RCG)?
  9. Song of America. Sovereign didn't start sailing until Jan. 1988.
  10. Did another Arctic Crossing in September 2022. Cruising Prins Christians Sund was spectacular. 👍 Voyager of the Seas - 14 days - Copenhagen (Denmark) to Kristiansand (Norway), Akureyri (Iceland), Reykjavik (Iceland) (overnight), Qaqortoq (Greenland)(tender), Nuuk (Greenland) - changed to Nanortalik (Greenland)[skipped port], Prins Christians Sund (Greenland) (cruising) to Boston (Massachusetts)
  11. Sailed Vision on an Arctic Crossing in Aug/Sept 2017. 16 days - Copenhagen (Denmark) to Skagen (Denmark), Kristiansand (Norway) (tendered), Stavanger (Norway), Invergordon (Scotland) [replaced Lerwick, Shetland Islands], Reykjavik (Iceland) (overnight), Akureyri (Iceland) (overnight), St. John's (Newfoundland) to Cape Liberty (Bayonne, NJ) One of my top 5 favorite cruises.
  12. They were originally booked in a JS, so they get the extra (not double 😄 ) suite point.
  13. C&A points are based on how the room is booked, not who actually stays in the room. If it was booked as double, you will not get the extra solo point, regardless if only you stayed in the room. Can't have your cake (KSF discount) and eat it too (extra solo point).
  14. Just an FYI to others: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/food-drink-onboard-policy On embarkation day, each guest of drinking age may bring one (1) sealed 750 ml bottle of wine or champagne. Guests may also bring non-alcoholic beverages as carry-on items on boarding day. Non-alcoholic beverages may not exceed 12 standard (17 oz.) cans, bottles or cartons per stateroom.
  15. My past couple of pre or post cruise stays have been in the UK. Next are in Spain and Italy. It's going to be weird driving overseas on the right side of the road. --------- I had taken several trips to the UK and Ireland. My next trip was to Denmark; picked up the rental car, came to a stop sign to make a left turn. Thinking to myself: I'm suppose to go the right side of the road after I turn, right? 😄
  16. Just saying. Suite lounge machine was better on that sailing.
  17. I could see that the effort (splitting Pinns) could be worth it if you combine all the loopholes (drink package avoidance, balcony discount, coastal kitchen).
  18. The "perk" is access to Suite Lounge, CK, and Suite sun deck.
  19. Liberty Crown Lounge coffee machine was broken all 9 days on my sailing.
  20. Non suite Pinns have to use vouchers in the suite lounge.
  21. See post #4. 😜 People also do it for balcony discounts.
  22. He's goofing off this week. Probably exhausted from dealing with the spring breakers on Odyssey.
