Without wishing to cause offence, it seems to me on this side of the pond that if the there is the slightest possibility of suing a corporation for a silly accident then the US Lawyers will jump at the opportunity. When I was a kid we did stupid things and ignored rules/advice. Corporations can’t use that at a defence with ambulance chasing lawyers

If the coffee served at the IC was free the queue each day would be huge given its size and staff manning it.

I personally wouldn’t bother with the first week for cruising. However Barcelona is a fantastic city to start a cruise with a pre stay. Gibraltar and Marseille are not great and Genoa is not pretty to visit either.

Thanks @EDVM96 "Not planned" but from my experience of four previous visits to Mykonos only my Celebrity cruises docked. Our Regal Princess cruise in 2022 didn't! Possibly with a 12 noon arrival the berth maybe free if another cruise ship had an overnight stop and departed prior to our arrival.

That information must be only available for US cruisers. Both my App and my cruise personalizer simply state the arrival and departure times. We arrive at Mykonos at 12 noon, so unfortunately that suggests to me we tender, but you may know better!

Looking at the Sun Princess webcam today, it has docked, so no tendering. Hopefully it will dock when I'm there on 16th August. It also means there is the choice of using the Princess shuttle buses or taking the water taxi direct to the old town.

Bar confirmed for our scheduled visit on 19th August 2024 too. I've been to Kotor three times before but I'm still disappointed. The sail in and out was one of the highlights for me.

Put some microwave ovens available for guests to use themselves in the Eatery. Its not rocket science and not expensive either.

I certainly wont be complaining after my time on the Sun this August. I can never understand the attraction of buffets, but then I'm not a big eater and can't stand lukewarm food.

Well that’s blown my plan this August of going on the glide roller the day we are supposed to be in Kotor, having only been informed by Princess on embarkation day that we are going to Bar instead 🙄

Im confused. Aren’t those suites with the wall of glass on deck 9 too but away from the communal deck space for cabana only passengers. I would definitely not want to risk a bid upgrade and end up with a wall of glass on my balcony as a result.

We have heard nothing but are due to be in Kotor on 19 August. Santorini on the 13 August unchanged too despite all the ships that are there that day!

After my Dad died in 1995, my Mum went on a few cruises (mostly P&O) alone and shared a cabin (4 berth) with complete strangers (women of course). She had a fantastic time with her new found friends on each cruise. She would say every time the ship rocked, it was my Dad kicking it from above 😂
