  1. As you eloquently stated “ provide a product “ . Providing a product whose reputation sells itself is a good start , as opposed to an inferior one that leaves customers disappointed.
  2. Any of us who have been in business for ourselves have taken some financial hits over the years, and they are not easy. The last thing I would ever do is alienate a long time paying customer to appeal to a “ different “ type of customer in hopes of improving the business . The devil you know is always better than the one you don’t. RCCL had this business pretty well figured out for decades , especially with their 2 main lines, Royal and Celebrity. This business has already made a tremendous comeback, but it will take awhile to reach pre COVID profits. In the meantime, I truly hope they don’t ruin the entire concept, because to be honest, it sure looks that way.
  3. Hello Everyone, I have 2 questions regarding these Family Oceanview Cabins on the Rotterdam 1. What is above them ? On the deck plans it shows a grey unmarked area. 2. If you book a regular Oceanview Cabin and add Club Orange will the category upgrade give you access to one of these cabins ?
  4. Try scheduling an appointment at the port of palm beach office. Bit of a drive for you , but may be a shorter wait to get the appointment .
  5. Hope it all turns up. Your situation has convinced me that I will take a picture of the laundry and the ticket before sending it out of the cabin.
  6. Actually, we were in an inside cabin midship.
  7. Interesting note about the thrusters on the equinox, sailed on her November of 2022 never heard the thrusters, never felt any vibration at any time. Sailed her again May / June 2023 , thrusters were extremely loud and the ship vibrated violently. Anyone else ?
  8. Believe me , to say it was frustrating would be an understatement.
  9. We had a 6 pm reservation on our last cruise for the entirety, when we arrived in our cabin there was a card on the bed saying our dining time would be at 8:30 every night. After much hoopla with the maitre d , by the third night we had a table for the duration at 6 pm. It was quite annoying to say the least.

  11. Last May ( 2023 ) in Oranjestad Aruba there was no shuttle at all . The berthing position was quite a walk from the ship to the security station to enter the city and back. There had been a school bus type shuttle provided on previous X cruises we were on at this port. When I inquired with a local taxi dispatcher he told me that X had previously provided the shuttle for their guests and crew , but this time they did not.

  13. I think all the baked stuff used to be better, they still look good , but they taste like they have chinsed on the ingredients.
  14. in your case , but not the same for everyone, I live in Florida It does not affect me that way.
  15. I can only tell you what works for me , It’s not like I enjoy hauling the water.
  16. When I drink the ship water , my ankles swell. When I drink the bottle water I carry on they don’t.

  19. Call me a Dinosaur, but I always have a printed copy of our boarding passes accessible in case of the unexpected, lost phone , dead battery , weak signal etc……. You don’t have to use it , but it is reassuring to know you can access it if need be. Hope you have a great cruise 🚢👍🍀 A copy of the statement showing all the details like drink packages , onboard credits etc and the page with the barcode should have you covered.
