You will probably be notified of a schedule change for your excursion or a cancellation as the other poster stated. No cruise line will leave you behind on an excursion scheduled through them.
It is bad for business and terribly expensive. Hope everything works out well for you with regard to enjoying your cruise and excursion.👍🍀🚢
In the restaurants yes, at the bars not some much. I too imbibe very little in my daily life , but when on a cruise I take advantage of not needing to drive, so I will have a few.
My wife and I ( mid sixties) happen to enjoy the “ adults only “ solarium. Recently there have been numerous instances when children of all ages come to the solarium with or without their parents and the whole experience changes from quiet and peaceful to loud and boisterous. Mind you we like kids but there are times when we enjoy an adult’s only experience.
I hope you continue to enjoy your family cruises and someday later on in your lifetime you may remember this story.
All the Best to you and your family.
There is a Courtyard Marriott just south of Griffin Road.
Very close is a restaurant called Islamorada Fish Company.
Also , Tropical Acres Steakhouse is just a short distance west on Griffin Road.
Both places are quite good.
Hope you are able to organize a good stay / meal before heading down to Miami.
👍🍀🚢
I heard there is a casino excursion that takes you to the nearest ATM in port , lets you stay there long enough to take out cash 💰 and brings you right back to the casino. 🤣🤣
If you change your socks , you better not let X know about it or they may charge you for that.
The ships are sailing at capacity right now so they are seizing the moment.
I would personally rather pay a higher fare and have the quality INCLUDED.
This whole al a carte concept detracts from the enjoyment of the cruise IMHO.
