    Yeah, my tastes are expensive! Love the Veuve, so between that, coffee, and water, it’s totally worth it. Excited to try other things, too. I like the idea of letting the Haven bartenders create things for me.

    Getting ready to sail on the Escape in the Haven in a few weeks. I have the PPBP for the first time and want to take full advantage. I’m not a huge drinker, so give me some ideas of what I should order with this upgraded package! For context, I like fruity, rum, tequila, vodka, red wine, rose, champagne. Thanks!

    Not sure what you lose, but due to lifeboat capacity, it’s not always possible to add more people to the cabin. Meaning that if the bid is awarded, it will be based on 2 people. You may not be able to add the other 2, even if you are okay with losing 50% of their other cruise fare. Plus, I believe you’d also have to pay whatever fare/taxes/fees for them are involved in the new cabin.

    We called the reservations line onboard for a different reason and they asked us while we were on the phone.

    You may have to call to get the Free at Sea Plus, which is what you had on the Prima. I didn’t want all of those other things and was able to just upgrade my beverage package for $243.

    You will get a fountain soda in a disposable cup. No self serve.

    If you get the PPBP upgrade, you only have to pay for your upgrade. His will stay as the sofa package. My 18 yr old is the 2nd passenger and I only had to pay the cost of my upgrade.

    Yes and you can even contact the pre-concierge desk and make appointments prior to boarding. I’ve never done it, but they always offer.

    The advantage is that you lock in the price. You don’t know right now what the price will be next year. It’s unlikely that it will get cheaper.

    Alex Nikolic is the concierge on the Getaway (or one of the team). We had him on the Dawn and he was wonderful!

    Sunfari can customize a tour for you. They can take you all around the island in their customized jeeps, which are really cool.

    That could be the issue. I don’t usually sail Haven proper, either. I just push through the doors and go to my room! I at least drop my stuff off. It’s really the only time I push the limit. Nobody has ever had an issue with us doing it.

    Never been my experience. We’ve always been able to, at a minimum, drop off our bags.

    My room is always ready by noon. Why? Because I sail in the Haven. If you want to sail NCL and getting in the room upon boarding is sooooo important to you, you have 2 options. Get a Haven room or board a little later. I’ve sailed NCL, Celebrity, Princess, Cunard, Holland America and RCCL. Cunard isn’t all that, IMO.

    Haven spa. It’s one of the more economical Haven suites and you get the spa access.

    The filet at La Cucina is better than any I’ve had at Cagney’s. And that peppercorn sauce and the blue cheese ravioli…perfect! Also, bread at Ocean Blue. So good!
