Greetings from beautiful Port Charlotte.
72 this AM with a high of 88 and sunny skies.
Good selection of days though we don’t celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
Interesting quote.
Today is Greek Orthodox Easter, Christos Anesti.
What a thrilling finish at the Kentucky Derby.
Have a great day and stay well.

Congrats on your number of cruises Graham and Mister67. But does size matter, I mean numbers matter! 😀We prefer smaller ships, even though we are down on HAL right now the Eurodam is our favorite ship.

Just being on a cruise ship is amazing.
A balcony cabin and Speciality restaurant dining every night makes us happy regardless of what the reviews say or which cruise ship we are on.
I'm sure you will have a fantastic cruise.
This will be our 74th cruise and we never had a bad one, just some have been better than others.

Greetings from beautiful Port Charlotte.
It’s 69 right now heading up to 88 with plenty of sunshine.
Good selection of days.
I’m not sure about the quote.
I would try the meal.
A week to go for our cruise on the Enchanted Princess, hope everything is good, I’ve read some great reviews and some not so great.
Today is the Run for the Roses, the 150th Kentucky Derby, here’s a hot tip, I’m going with the favorite Fierceness. The problem with the Derby is there are way too many horses and if a horse has a lousy post position way on the outside the horse might be boxed out or have a hard time making up ground getting close to the rail, IMHO the Preakness and Belmont are better races because they usually have only 9 or10 horses.
Have a great day and stay well.

Greetings from beautiful Port Charlotte.
71 this AM with a high of 89.
A couple of strange days.
The quote is pretty good.
Carrot Cake is a favorite of mine but it has a lot of calories.
We have been to France and the French Riviera but not to Marseille.Margaret Mitchell most definitely deserved the Pulitzer Prize for Gone With The Wind, I read the novel in 1963 in High School and did a book report on it, the movie is also great and we have watched it over 20 times.
We spent a beautiful 4 hours at Englewood Beach yesterday, more people than I expected as some snowbirds are still around.Have a great day and stay well.

Greetings from beautiful Port Charlotte.
A warm 73 this AM heading up to 88 this afternoon, highs in the 90s coming up next week.
Good selection of days.
The quote is right on the money.
I’ll pass on the meal.
I’ve been to Montevideo, the one in Minnesota not in Uruguay.
Had a Dr. Jekyll and Mister Hyde round yesterday shooting a 35 on the front nine and a 44 on the back 9, wheels sort of came off but I did get it back on the last 3 holes.
We will make it to the beach today.
Have a great day and stay well.

Greetings from beautiful Port Charlotte.
69 this AM heading up to 85 with abundant sunshine.
Excellent selection of days.
Meh on the quote.
The meal is worth a try.
Juneau was the first stop on our 2000 Alaskan cruise on the Celebrity Galaxy, it was cold and damp that day, once was enough.
We didn’t go to the beach yesterday as our dentist office called and they were able to move up my appointment which was after our May 11 cruise, I had a piece come off an upper right tooth so the dentist was able to put a temporary crown, procedure took about 90 minutes, not a lot of fun, the permanent crown might be in before our cruise.
Have a great day and stay well.

I am a life-long Red Sox fan. I know how you feel. But I experienced a miracle in 2004. I know there has to be one in your future. We won it all in 2005, I remember beating your guys I the first round of the playoffs 3 games to none, in fact we went 11-1 in the postseason which tied the Yankees with the best postseason record ever, we beat the Angels 4-1 and then swept the Astros for the World Series Championship.

Tell us how you really feel!😎
If you were a White Sox fan you would know how I feel, at the pace they are on they are going to wind having the worst record in modern day Major League Baseball history, the 1962 NY Mets right now have that distinction finishing with a record of 40-120.

Actually though I left Chicago over 30 years ago I’m still a White Sox fan, talk about hurting all over, the White Sox are pathetic, with a pathetic owner, a pathetic GM, a pathetic manager and pathetic players, otherwise things are wonderful.

Greetings from beautiful Port Charlotte.
69 this AM with a high of 86 and lots of sunshine.
Never heard of Beltane Day but who hasn’t heard of Bugs Bunny, one of the most iconic cartoon characters ever, Whats up doc. When I was a kid and went to a Saturday matinee with 25 Cartoons, Bugs always got the loudest cheers.
Good quote.
Pass on the meal.
Going to grab some sunshine today at the beach.
My Lightning were eliminated in their first round playoff with the guys from the other side of the state, oh well, now I can concentrate on the baseball season.
Have a great day and stay well.

65 this morning with another sunny day coming up and a high of 84.
Good selection of days.
Great quote on real friendship.
I’ll pass on the meal.
My parents were married 79 years ago today and I showed up 10 months later, my father was in the Navy and came home to Chicago right before Germany surrendered, he was injured at Normandy when his ship stuck a German mine off Utah Beach, he was one of the few survivors losing many of his ship mates. He returned to England where he recovered from his wounds and spent his remaining service time there before returning home in mid April of 1945 and my folks married a couple of weeks later.
Have a great day and stay well.

Greetings from beautiful Port Charlotte.
It’s 69 this morning heading up to 83 with sunshine.
Very good days.
I’m not sure about the quote, the percentages might be skewed a bit.
I’m in on the meal.
Heading off to church in a couple hours, it’s Palm Sunday in the Greek Orthodox Church.
The Lightning are still alive as they beat the Panthers 6-3 yesterday but the odds are still against them winning the series as they must win the next 3 games.
Have a great day and stay well.

Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily.
Happy King's Day. Yum, I like devil dogs cakes but don't have any (I didn't know of the military connection). No dog here. Children should be taught to save. Good quote. Maybe on the meal. Pass on the drink and wine. I haven't been to Ilulissat.
It's partly cloudy and in the 60's. We had rain starting early this AM. I heard it at 4AM. I briefly woke up at 2, 4 and 7AM, getting about 7 hours of sleep. The wound area is now very black and blue, but not more painful. No big plans for today, although maybe having BFF hang some pictures.
@StLouisCruisers Thanks for our start and the photos.
@grapau27 Thanks for the Devil Dog info.
@aliaschief Appreciate your sharing your journey. Hopefully no pirates around!
@MISTER 67 Congrats on the golf tournament. Are you doing the 7 day cruise?
@rothbury Thanks for the Rotterdam photo.
@RMLincoln Prayers for DH's continued improvement.
@Seasick Sailor Oliver was a lucky puppy to end up with you and Allen!
@Quartzsite Cruiser Great photos.
@smitty34877 Hugs to you and Tana. I'm sure the house seems too quiet today. I agree with ordering in today!
@bennybear Wow, the owl photos are spectacular.
@Vict0riann Thanks for the photos.
Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for those Celebrating.
Yep, 7 days.

Greetings from beautiful Port Charlotte.
66 this AM with a high of 86 and more sunny skies.
Good selection of days as is the quote.
Though I’m not wild about cauliflower, I’d give the meal a try.
2 more weeks until our cruise on the Enchanted Princess to St. Thomas, San Juan and Princess Cays.
We finished in 3rd place and cashed in the last Men’s Golf Assn. tournament of the season. Tough scramble format with everybody teeing off from the Senior tees but for every birdie the team made we had to move back 1 tee box so by the 7th hole we played the rest of round from the back tees which was sort of brutal for some old fogies but we managed 3 more birdies and never made a bogie, if you did bogey a hole the team moved up a tee box. We wound up with a 65 which considering the game I thought we did quite well but couldn’t believe when we were finished that the first place team shot 60, trust me, that was phenomenal.
Have a great day and stay well.

Good morning. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily.
I'll salute the Audubon Society. No Australian here to hug. We shouldn't forget Chernobyl and what it entailed. Funny Mel Brooks quote. Pass on the meal (fish), drink (well maybe yes to #2) and wine. I have been to Burnie, but not Hobart, Tasmania. Container ships are something we now rely heavily on.
It's already 61F and sunny. It will be a nice day, and rain tomorrow, before the big warmup. I stayed downstairs in the recliner last night, and got in 7 hours of sleep (yay). Still a bit stiff and sore, but I think it's starting to ease up. The furniture restorers were just here, dropping off my reglued and reupholstered dining room chairs, and taking an antique table to work on. BFF is going to his house for the afternoon, to mow the grass and do some other things. He'll be back this evening. I think I'll get my first shower, using the walk-in shower here on the first floor. I have instructions to stay off the stairs! I think I'll catch up on Call The Midwife, something BFF wouldn't want to watch with me.
@dfish Happy Birthday! And safe travels.
@StLouisCruisers Thanks for our start today, and the Hobart photos.
@grapau27 Thanks for the explanations of the days. Nice beach scenery.
@MISTER 67 I hope your TB Lightning can rally back.
@seagarsmoker Great photo.
@smitty34877 Safe travels to your family traveling back to NH. I'm sure it was so nice having them there for a while.
@Mr. Boston I hope the open houses yield a buyer! Safe travels to ME.
@ottahand7 Hugs on the sad memory day.
@marshhawk My head spins regarding your work, but I'm glad you got some hours. Enjoy your Thai lunch!
@RMLincoln Thinking of you and your family after the loss of your DSIL. Prayers.
Prayers for the Care List and Cheers to those Celebrating.
Jazzy, I’m not holding my breath on the Lightning coming back to win the series.

Your photos bring back memories of our Greek Island cruise from Istanbul to Athens on the R 1 in 1999 which was one of 8 identical ships built by Renaissance Cruise Line, not sure if you are sailing on the original R 1 but the ship looks like it has held up extremely well after 25 years.

Greetings from beautiful Port Charlotte.
It’s 65 this AM heading up to a warm 87 with the usual sunny skies.
Good selection of days.
Some chuckles with the quote by Mel Brooks who is one funny guy, his Young Frankenstein is my favorite movie comedy of all time.
Not sure about the meal.
My Tampa Bay Lightning are toast as they have lost the first 3 games of their playoff series against the Florida Panthers, the Bolts need a miracle.
Today is our last Men’s Golf Assn. Tournament of the season. Most of the Snowbirds have already headed north with only a few still here. Traffic has thinned out and the restaurants aren’t as crowded, hallelujah!
Have a great day and stay well.

A pleasant 64 this AM heading up to 84 with sunny skies.
Good selection of days.
I’m not sure about the quote.
Pass on the meal.
We have been to Santorini, one of the best Greek Islands.
Had a good round yesterday beating my age by 1 shot with a smooth 77 with 2 closies but my 3 teammates struggled and we finished last in the team game.
Have a great day and stay well.

We have sailed on the Equinox 6 times and agree with everything you said except we aren’t wild about the production shows, a couple of them have been around for 6 years. The Equinox is a wonderful ship and one of our favorites and look forward to see what she will look like after the dry dock.

Greetings from beautiful Port Charlotte.
73 this AM with a high of 89 and sunny skies.
Interesting days, I hated homework, tried to get it done in study hall.
I’m constantly dieting but I had my gall bladder removed 4 years ago and your metabolism gets messed up and it’s hard to lose weight as you don’t process food and fats in a normal way, I’m about 10 pounds over where I’d like to be.
One of those Greek guys my ancestors knew with a quote that’s spot on.
I’ll pass on the salad even though I love Feta cheese, just don’t care for pears.
Maine is one of the few states I haven’t visited so haven’t experienced Bar Harbor.
Monday’s are early tee times for our golf group, we lost a few more snowbirds over the weekend and are down to around 3 foursomes for the summer.
Have a great day and stay well.
