How many bottles of wine can you bring on a 15 days journey's cruise?

My sister and her husband cruised on the Conquest this past February for their 40th wedding anniversary. I had sent them onboard cruise cash in the amount of $250. Never even thought about asking her how much she received until today, when she asked my if I received the right amount of cruise cash she sent me last week while I was on the Sunshine. I told her the amount and she confirmed it was right. So, I asked her if she received the right amount on the Conquest in February. She told me that she received $150. I just went and checked my credit card statement and sure enough $250 had been charged to my card! I will call on Monday to see why this happened. She does not believe it was included on any of her credits and she is going to investigate when they are open on Monday.

Also, On my cruise last week, my other sister had sent cruise cash and I never received a note that it was on my account or whom it was from. The only reason I knew it was from her is because she asked me if I got it.

There is just no excuse for this!

We will be on the Oasis in September!

We are thinking about booking our flights through Royal for an upcoming cruise on the Oasis out of Port Canaveral. We are looking for opinions from others who have used this service. We always booked our own airfare so we leave a couple of days early just in case.

I have a couple of questions regarding this service:

How safe is it to book the airfare the day of the cruise?

If you miss the ship and have to board at the first port, does Royal refund you for the days you have missed?

I found out that if you fly down a day or two early Royal does not offer any of the hotels at the port. Has anyone here stayed at the hotels they offer in Orlando?

WHAT? your provider on the ship is Carnival. Your local provider is turned off.

This made me laugh. If you only knew how little I actually know about things like this. If it wasn't for my husband I wouldn't even know how to connect to the internet on the ship.

We bought the Social plan two years ago aboard the Conquest and it worked flawlessly. Well, there were a few dead spots around, but that's understandable. But now people are reporting that it's terrible. Loading fb pages, Hub app chat messages, simple things won't even work. I don't know what happened between then and now, but something's up. We'll be on the Glory in June. More reports of terrible internet on there in recent weeks. Sure wish they'd get it straightened out.

 

Someone's individual provider has nothing to do with the ship's on board wifi. That is provided by Carnival. When were you on those cruises?

We were on both ships within the past year. My sister was on the Conquest last week and had the internet package and it worked find. She was even able to call me via Facebook every day.

We will be on the Sunshine the end of this month and have already purchased it for this cruise. Will let you know how that goes.

Does anyone know if the Sunshine has the new deli menu? Also wondering if I can find a copy of it online.

We purchased internet for both the Conquest and Magic. We had not problems with it. I do wonder if it has something to do with your provider.

There is no room service fee for grand suites and above.

Did they still have the old menu at the Steakhouse?

I will be on the Sunshine in less than a month and am also trying to find out when they will have the new steakhouse menu. If I find out before I go, I'll post again. Hopefully, someone will post before we leave and let us all know. Have a great time.

I will also be on the Sunshine next month. While my sister was on the Conquest last week, she asked them to check and see if the new menu was on the Sunshine. They told her that the Sunshine still had the old menu.

When we were on the Magic a few months ago they had just implemented the new menu in the Steakhouse. I believe it rolled out on the Magic and one other ship. My sister is on the Conquest this week and said they still have the old menu. I will be on the Sunshine next month, and my sister asked if the new menu had been implemented on that ship and was told they still have the old menu. I'm wondering if maybe they are not going to change the menu throughout the fleet. In my opinion the old menu is so much better than the new one.
