There is not. And it is not a good look for a new to Celebrity cruiser. Honestly between this and the attitude I have encountered from some on here (the board, NOT this thread), I am beginning to rethink my decision to try this cruise line.

really sorry to hear that we love the Celebrity product but this is driving me mad. It's fine for my February 2020 Constellation cruise but September is coming up fast! I hope you love it when you get on board

I have experienced Hoppen decor on EDGE...non suite AQ class IV.

    ..

I thought hoppen was only responsible for the suites, retreat and public areas and another firm did the other cabins

Well, another suggestion might be, when you cannot access the website, call X and keep them on the phone explaining every option and pricing then have them book it... this could take hours of their time and after a few calls like this, they would do something more proactive as many calls would go unanswered because of this.

    Good luck and bon voyage

We did this last week to check what the beverage packages where reduced to in the sale and I fully intend next time there's a sale I will get them to read all options and remain on phone whilst we decide!

  4. We have the same problem for our Equinox September sailing and it's driving me crazy!

I love the planning aspect of the pre cruise and have OBC to use but I can't look at anything. I'm very concerned I'll miss a sale as i did the last one that i could use for specialised dining or an excursion.

I've talked to, emailed, live chatted to Celebrity until I'm blue in face and actually feel like cancelling the whole trip! (problem is we seem to have a real bargain)!

  5. Great to see all the pics it looks like the changes on the Summit have mirrored those on the Millennium as expected. Can't wait to see an S Class ship done think first up the Equinox in June, we'll be on her in September

  6. On our Millennium cruise last month the CD was useless but there were 5 live music acts the house band, an Argentinian jazz quartet, a string duo to die for and 2 solo singer guitarists. Best I’ve ever had on my few Celeb sailings. They started around 1pm and you could usually find one of them playing up until 10:30 and then the house band in the Cosmos until 11:30.

A dedicated piano bar would be great we loved the duelling pianos on our first ever cruise on NCL

I Initially thought it was Al Bachio but looking further was thinking it was Rendevous Lounge.   Any other guesses?

Carpet the same as Rendevous on Millennium the Cafe Al Bacio was different

  8. On our recent cruise on Millenium a couple of weeks ago there waas no piano bar as such but there waas generally live music in one or more of the bars through the evening until around 10pm to 10:30pm and then the house band usually played in the Cosmos Lounge until 11:30pm. In addition there was usually a dj in the Martini Bar

  9. When on the Millenium a waiter in Tuscan first night told us he'd spent most of the renovation tearing up carpets and helping the contractors lay them.

Funny how we are all different we love both Tuscan and Qsine but on one vivit so far to Murano's didn't like it!

  10. Great topic! We are newbies just done our 6th cruise and have 2 booked in next year and counting the days.

We love cruising for lots of reasons but specifically it's taking your great 5* hotel which has great service, food and facilities, around the world with you, so on many days you wake up somewhere new. Many places are new, some we know like back of our hands but we love it.

We are still working so can only manage 2 cruises a year as we also follow a rugby team around the UK and Europe which results in probably 8 weekends away ranging from overnight to long weekends. We also need weekends for visitng friends (usually out of season Norfolk and Liverpool planned so far this year) and the occasional city break, though we did loads of those before we started cruising.

@Alushar, was the hotel booking done through the City Stay product that @Jim_Iain mentioned? Or was that a "regular" hotel booking?

Once you paid for the hotel at final payment, was it non-refundable or could you still cancel and get a refund if you had to cancel the trip for some reason? Covered by trip insurance?

    .

It wasn't City Stay the UK site doesn't have that we are simply given the option of adding flights and hotels once the cabin is selected. There are usually multiple options each with a price that adds to the total cost.

I'm not aware if it was refundable after final payment but was covered by our trip insurance

  12. We booked our recent flights from London to Hong Kong and return from Singaapore though Celebrity along with a hotel stay in Hong Kong.

We didnot have to pay for flights or hotels until we paid for the cruise. The hotel cost was calculated after we'd been through the cabin booking etc but was one flat charge. It and the flights were cancellable at any time up to final payment.

I checked with the hotel and couldn't get better than Celebrity's price and that was for the Langham a top rated 5*

Hope that helps I know there are differences in the UK and US systems but we get asked if we want flights and hotels once we are through the cabin booking bit.
