I hate posts that blame RCCL for a persons own mistake on not understanding how roaming works and what is covered.

I only care they have one.....don't even notice names!

So I travel around the world with a disabled person, and one thing I learned is that you can always find a solution. The tour you say was mobility accessible, but even with that, the final part is free time....and what free time means is that you must figure out the rest on your own. Paris like many older cities are not ADA compliant, and anyone that needs special needs must on their own, research everything!. There are very few elevators in Paris. So the tour should have said, the bus and lunch is accessible, but once we dump you for free time.....you might have issues? Advice for anyone that is disabled. Research, plan, and understand. Sometimes my wife just sits and waits for me because that is just a fact of life. We both accept it. Plus RCCL can't say "everything" in a description, it is up to each person to understand and know.

So, when you turn your phone on, and not on airplane mode, yes you can text. It is usually $0.50 outgoing and $.10 incoming but sometimes incoming is free. So, think of this, one text on the ship is $1.20. you send it, they receive it, they reply, and you receive it.....$1.20 While your phone is on, it is most likely using data, but you might have all data turned off, so maybe ok but a risk.

Well the good news is you are on a ship, that moves, and there is lots of noises at various times and for various reasons......and the crew has secret places all over the ship, to work in to increase your enjoyment. Enjoy the trip, and don't worry about behind the secret doors

Well, I don't actually fill the suitcase.....just using it as humor. It might only be 45lbs with room to bring extra stuff home

First, being Platinum, and having a JS has nothing to do with check in.....but if you must know, I am Diamond so I get to answer this. Check in times are to alleviate congestion in check in. The more Platinum guests that (not Diamond, we are special) do not follow the rules, than the greater the congestion. So, only Diamond can ignore the rules. Now, in many terminals, sure they ignore times, or the port, just does not really care much. Me personally, have a check in time of 12:30 for my next cruise, and I may even be late for it, since I'm in no hurry. Just follow the rules, and don't worry about that others break them. You don't need to follow, but rather lead by example.

I pack what I fit in a suitcase (50.7 lbs). I often times never dress for dinner outside what I am wearing unless, I'm wearing shorts. I have no issues wearing jeans or shorts multiple times.....so all I worry about is some polo or button down shirts to go with jeans or maybe a pair of dark khakis

You might want to check with your insurance company, since none of us are your medical insurance provider. Travel policies only cover what your medical policy does not cover.

are you expecting just to find a taxi the other way? Not exactly a city where you can just hail a cab? You might want to think this a little better and be sure you can actually do it. Plus call the company, it is in the USA, and just ask them and I bet they can also tell you what it's like to get a taxi

You know, they do have wifi, and getting a sims card is like getting a gift card. They are adults, who work for a paycheck....and cash tips.....not little gifts, that they might want, or not but is an extra level of pain to use......CASH for the adults, and leave all cute little gifts for the kids at home

Nothing to be confused about. You are going on an international flight, so to fly you need to have passport.....The age of a person does not matter.

Crew members are adults that accept the job on the ship, just like anyone else. They are not little children, who get happy with tiny little gifts (note they will smile and say thank you, but really don't mean it since they are in the hospitality business). They know how to shop and get stuff. They don't want a gift care, they want CASH. That is how they get paid. When you get off the ship, they don't care who you are, and the stuff gets tossed. Or they use it in poker games in place of money....I'll raise you one toothpaste for the candy bar

I never felt the need to stay up to midnight just to check in........just FYI and I always get a good time still

The ship is loaded with food, but if you really need more food, yes, you can buy some stuff, but the rule of supply and demand happens in ships, no need to have a large supply of for purchase snacks when snacks are all over the ship for free.

It's not really a secret....all you have to do, is read the paper in your room, for your perks. It replaced another perk I think in the casino.

go to your app and you will see exactly what is on the ship. Radiance is a classic ship, not a destination ship. The theater will have your classic, RCCL singers and dancers doing shows, as well as headlines that will change. About a week before your cruise you should see on your app, what the shows are.

Whenever a person asks this, I feel they are looking for some kind of justification, to support their desires but already know they are risking things by doing it. Just because others are successful, does not mean you will, or any justification you have for doing it will work out. No matter what you wish, every flight is a risk, and the more you can do to minimize the risk the better it is.

Why are you going on a cruise if you are still afraid? Stay home!

I picked 12:30 - 1:00 and am happy, and have no complaints......and my hotel, has late checkout.....and my hotel is part of the cruise terminal.....oh now I will sleep late, have breakfast, walk around, and return at 12:30 or later

I'm Diamond, never sailed GS and had trips canceled in last two years.....I have no reason to post this, other than to say I'm Diamond
