  1. Ditto... we used them after our Adventure sailing in February. Excellent communication and affordable prices.
  2. I've never seen a price that dropped lower than the group rate I got except once. Just after the retart, I think, Royal added Quantum to Seattle doing Alaska. This was a change that redeployed Quantum from the Asian market. We were already booked on Ovation with a pretty good price through our TA's group space. When the Quantum itineraries dropped, of course that increased supply and lowered the price of all Alaska cruises out of Seattle. Before I even realized there had been a drop my TA emailed me letting me know that there was a drop in the group rate we had already secured. That is the only price reduction I have gotten on group space.
  3. I haven't been on Oasis yet... That is one I'd like to try. I hope they don't kill Samba grill when she goes in to dry dock... 🤞
  4. If I was honest that's really all I'm checking for now too.
  5. I actually never expect any reductions. Almost all of my cruises are booked when the itineraries are released. I almost always book group rates through my TA so I'm already starting at a reduced price. The only time I have gotten a reduction in the last year has been on a cruise in 2025 that I booked a GS on and it dropped a tiny bit. I used to check religiously now, if I have time, I'll go through them once a month. When you book right you don't really have to worry about price drops.
  6. That was the same for us... Once we discovered SB I don't think I've been back to WJ for breakfast since. My last cruise on Adventure, which we really enjoyed, my wife commented she really missed SB.
  7. I just checked all 9 of my upcoming cruises... No reductions. 😞.
  8. I was a smoker years ago. Now I hate it. I'll tolerate it in the casino and would never make any comments but if someone thinks they're going to do it on their balcony near mine I will be making a phone call.
  9. I have found the bands will take a lot of requests and do their best to accommodate you if they can.
  10. We didn't have to get off the ship in Galveston when we did our first B2B on Harmony. We met in the comedy club and around 10:00 once the ship was zero'd a CBP agent came on quickly looked at our passports and we were off on our own. It was great!
  11. I understand that their are consumer protections in UK that are not in the US... That being said we see on this board all the time residents of the UK bemoaning the fact that they can't access price reductions. This thread is about price reductions.
  12. Citizenship and residence are different. Just list your residence any random state.
  13. It was our first back to back so I don't have any other experience. I think he said I should pack all my stuff up and he would move it. I asked if he meant the hanging stuff and he said "no leave that hanging I will move it". So his first comment was a little ambiguous.
  14. On Harmony I packed everything back into the suitcase except the hanging stuff. They moved the hanging stuff the way it was. this was what our cabin steward told us to do.
  15. On a three day cruise you will be able to use on embarkation and a little later after lunch at Johnny Rockets or Playmakers (if there is on) on port days. Usually Places like JR's and Playmakers will open around 2pm
  16. @Bob Merkt I wouldn't because Seattle has been a cluster ____ every time I have gotten off. Longest and most disorganized debarkation of any port I have cruised out of.
  17. Yes, that is what we have done every time. There was reports that for some reason the Hibachi reservations had to be done separately but that wasn't our experience.
  18. If you cancel now your refund will go back to the original form of payment. However, I wouldn't cancel now. A lot can happen between now and June 1.
  19. I haven't been on vision but any ship with cafe latte-tudes I have been on had included regular coffee as well. Is vision different or is my memory faulty?
  20. That is my experience too. I'm pretty impatient with waiting in line but found it wasn't to bad when I was on Ovation. I only did it once... I'm sure kids would line up repeatedly.
  21. Yep, noticed that on a couple different cruises I was looking at... LOL another intern screw up.
  22. I'm not sure what is going for you but we always pick our cabin. What ship and sailing?
