  1. I picked Labadee over Cococay but in all honesty there isn't a big enough difference between the two to sway me one way or the other if I was deciding which cruise I was taking. I like both.
  2. New sale just started covering my next four cruises. Just ordered the DBP on Harmony for 72.99 and Navigator for 70.99. YMMV
  3. Ok, as a follow up... I just hung up the phone with Royal. I ordered the DBP for me and the RP for DW. We don't need to book this anymore now that we have turned diamond however we have a cruise coming up with our daughter and son in law and their three children and we are paying the for everything so I intend to use my Diamond vouchers for extended family members, so ordering the package made sense this time. I call the C&A number and asked to order 1 DBP and 1 RP. The agent asked why one is only getting the RP. I replied "she doesn't drink alcohol." I was put on hold for 90 seconds. The agent came back on with the total for the two packages and processed my credit card. No muss and no fuss. I'm not calling the poster who suggested they were required to provide medical documentation a liar. I'm going to assume they got a very bad agent. If that ever happens, I'd just hang up and call again.
  4. This is the exact unit we have except where you see the extra coach in picture 26 I have converted it into a walk in closet for DW. https://www.rvtrader.com/listing/2019-Heartland-Big+Country+3850+MB-5017139504
  5. I'll submit two other options... Hillbilly of the Seas Redneck of the Seas How is a Redneck divorce and a tornado that same... No matter what the outcome, someone's losing a trailer. 🙂
  6. We got the sesame deal. I just realized though that we’re March not Feb.
  7. We're on Feb 2025 as well B2B with a 4 and 7 day. What dates do you have?
  8. I'd argue the Cabanas a little. I loved ours at Labadee... But you're definitely right about the food. Cococay was vastly superior.
  9. Right now it feels like I have an Oceanview cabin looking out at the water... I shall christian her trailer of the seas. I have to make my own bed but otherwise... Life is good
  10. So the first afternoon at the Lake is washed out. Thunder storm is rolling in. It should be clear by about 8 tonight sunny and warm for the rest of the week. However, tonight I've got a front row seat to watch the storm roll across the lake.
  11. My suspicion is that that is possible but if you were caught I think you might be subject to having your package cancelled and on the hook for al a carte pricing.
  12. Again, all I can say is that that is bizarre when viewed through my experience. Every time I have called on this, which was every cruise before diamond status, I have had no problem. The biggest challenge I received from an agent was "so your spouse doesn't drink" to which I responded correct. Usually I didn't even get this, they just place my order for one DBP and one RP. It would be a total shock to me to have to provide doctors notes or any other documentation. I have one to purchase for an upcoming cruise. If there was an ongoing sale I would I'd test it out again right now. When the Memorial Day sale pricing kicks in I'll book it and report back.
  13. That's bizarre, I have done this on almost every cruise I have ever been on until we turned diamond and stopped buying the package.
  14. I had the same thought until I went the first time. I quite enjoyed it and have taken Sharron to a few over the years now. I'd gladly go back.
  15. very funny 🙂 The Empress is part of the Fairmont Family of hotels and quite uppity... I'm sure seagull were not appreciated
  16. So this is the problem with having to much time on your hands... I booked another cruise. I just turned my Dec 10/23 Harmony cruise into a B2B... I was shopping for property and struck out so now I'm just roaming aimless through the NW. I guess a cruise is cheaper than what I was going to spend. 🤡
  17. What @firefly333 said is right. However, other major holidays will have a lower price on some things than what you see now.
  18. I was there in March on a full Oasis with a full freedom on the same day. It was just fine. We had a really great time.
  19. We did all the usual tourist things you see in London as well. It was part of a 22 day trip that included Glasgow, Oslo, Aalesund (my Dad's hometown), Paris and Courseulles-sur-Mer (Normandy). It was a bit of a world wind tour. Included in that was a short Hurtigruten cruise that included the Gerainger Fjord.
  20. We have cruised several times during that week or the week following. It tends to be more affordable and have few kids. the only down side is flight costs can be high on the inbound leg
  21. If we ever meet IRL you better not wear that... DW will steal it right off your body. I showed her the picture and her response was, "I need that"
