No to clarify It was clear to see they were on board (charges) account statements that were in the dockets outside a few cabins including a few people near us who had said they had stopped gratuities. The cabin stewards deliver these so would have known what they were.

On Anthem of the seas in September on the last afternoon several cabins near us had their cabin charge sheets in the docket outside their cabin. These usually appear around 3am on the morning you get off the ship. I had spoken to most of them and they had indicated they had removed their gratuities.

We all get a cabin,cabin steward,clean towels,waiters in the restaurant,bars and windjammer. Being friendly and respectful to the crew certainly helps although I have always been a generous cash tipper on top of pre-paid or auto gratuities. As D+ we get 5 free drinks each daily and I always tip $1 cash per drink but often don't see anyone else tipping cash. On Anthem from Southampton England in September I got served quickly every time we were in the Schooner bar.

Personally I tip wherever we eat on land and in all speciality restaurants on board UK ships where tipping is not required plus our autogratuity on RCL. I think a sensible gratuity amount is acceptable but everyone has to pay it. It is unfair that some of us pay several hundred dollars auto gratuities while others can stop theirs at guest services when we all get a similar service.

Good morning. It is sunny but a freezing 32°F and the light covering of snow last night is frozen. Graham.

We took a tour to Puerto de las Cruz. We have had 4 hotel holidays in Puerto de la Cruz and 10 hotel holidays in Playa de las America's Tenerife and also love it here. Graham.

On a positive note Ann after our 14 night Canary Islands cruise I have just booked a hotel holiday in Tenerife Canary Islands. Graham.

On our last cruise on P&O Azura November 18-December 2nd we praised the Chef's in Sindhu and Glasshouse speciality restaurants to our waiters and both chef's personally came out to our table to thank us. We spoke to the restaurant manager on deck one day and she said how much they appreciate our kind words and happy smiles. I mentioned P&O because it was our last cruise but we are D+ and were on Anthem of the seas in September 2022. Unless there is 3 in a cabin and a bunk bed needs to be turned down from a sofa for the night 1cabin service surely is enough. As I posted earlier we now no longer want a cabin steward to service our cabin except for a weekly bedding change. Graham.

I'm sorry to hear you have a broken Fibula Ray. Although it is not a weight bearing bone it is serious and you did absolutely the right thing to get an x-ray and hopefully if it is properly strapped you should make a great recovery. Graham.
