Thank you Dani! Their private ceremony went well. They were officially married by 9 am Tuesday, November 15th. Seemed strange to us but after the service with Justice of Peace they both went to work. Donna stills feels horrible this morning with congestion, cough, headache and fatigue but is still testing negative for covid. Chris is working from home today. We are hoping he stays well and she recovers for Thanksgiving next week. She is going to tell her Mom to cancel her trip to see them tomorrow as she does not want to get her Mother sick especially since her Grandmother lives with her Mom and is battling cancer right now.

If you are looking for excursion or items sold on cruise planner then you need to log in to your sailing to find out those prices. If looking to book a new sailing then Yes, you can just go royalcaribbean.com to see which sailings are for sale. Best to do a mock booking and enter in your crown and anchor number and select any other discounts that may apply such as senior citizen or military discounts.

Can you walk out of the bar with a pitcher of beer?
Sunshine3601 replied to qwerty11's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I have not seen it done but probably could. Playmakers on Oasis class ships have pitchers too but I don't know the price. -
What do you think of the Cafe card?
Sunshine3601 replied to pittnh's topic in Royal Caribbean International
The diamond lounge has free specialty cofees (no voucher needed) all day and night time too. There is a self serve machine where you can make cappuccino, lattes, espresso or regular coffee. I usually make myself a capuccino or latte with extra shot of espresso every morning. You may not even need the coffee card. -
We had a hiccup with our dinner celebration this evening for Chris and Donna. The new Bride came home from work feeling like crap. She tested and was negative but will test again tomorrow morning. So the new Groom is doing his duty of caring for his new Wife❤️ We were already on our way to Center City when we got the call so we decided to stop and grab a bite to eat at Eric's old stomping grounds from his college days at U of P. Smokey Joe's https://www.smokeyjoesbar.com/our-menu The owner even recognized Eric and still has Eric's rowing picture on the wall when his team won (we were last there about 4 or 5 years ago). They do have really good food at very reasonable prices (link to menu above) since it is a college hang out but does have a mix of ages. We will wait to hear when Donna is feeling better to reschedule. Her Mom is coming into town this weekend so maybe she will feel better and her Mom can join us.

all there is too know about grandeur OTS
Sunshine3601 replied to maxsales's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We definitely prefer the smaller ships. Radiance class (Serenade) is our favorite but we also like Grandeur. We have sailed on Grandeur several times when she was out of Baltimore. We were scheduled to do a sailing last February out of Barbados on Grandeur but with all the extra hoops to get into Barbados due to covid, we cancelled. I was so looking forward to sailing on her and visiting some new islands the larger ships don't seem to go to. Sure the cabins are a bit smaller and ship is older but the crew is amazing and you receive much better service, personal attention then you do with the larger ships, IMO. Also much nicer views from various locations, restaurants, etc. inside the ship. -
What do you think of the Cafe card?
Sunshine3601 replied to pittnh's topic in Royal Caribbean International
yes, it is the similar to a business card. You can buy on cruise planner, then once onboard the ship you can go to parks cafe or wherever you get specialty coffee (varies per ship) and they will have a list of people that ordered cards and give you your card. -

Diamond vouchers with the new drink prices
Sunshine3601 replied to maxsales's topic in Royal Caribbean International
The voucher covers any drink up to $14 If you wish to tip the bartender you may do so as cash or add a tip to the receipt they will give you to sign. Personally, I tip cash per drink. The vouchers also work on the last morning of a cruise. I use them to get my morning latte while having breakfast then grab another one to go for our drive home. Or if you are out late the night before new vouchers reset to your sea pass after midnight every night. -

I have one my Son had purchased last March on Anthem that has a couple unused punches left and plan on trying it out Anthem early December. I wondered when they would stop allowing it to be carried over. 😞 -
Royal Caribbean Injury Escalation
Sunshine3601 replied to maria5309's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I hope your Grandmother's surgery is a success and has a speedy recovery. If you are seeking compensation for her injury and believe her accident to be the fault of royal caribbean. Then you definitely want to consult an Attorney. Did medical onboard properly care for her? Did they suggest evacuating her for this serious injury? If it is a safety concern then I would reach out to their President and bring the safety issue to their attention. Other than that I'm not sure what type of resolution you are seeking.
