  1. Simply go to the MDr when you board, check out table location and if you want to move ask them. We have done this several times. Be prepared for a line of others doing the same.
  2. Drink pkg varies per ship and sail date but assume it's $85 pp per day + 18% gratuity Ultimate dining pkg estimate for a 7 night cruise can cost around $325 plus 18% gratuity. Sales on black friday may or may not be in your favor.
  3. I'm not sure about Spectrum and if their check in times are being strictly adhered to. Maybe check on their roll calls and see if anyone knows the answer.
  4. Ken @Ourusualbeach, probably knows the answer.
  5. If they remove the 2nd guest before the sailing I'm pretty sure they will reprice the cabin at solo rate. Probably best to have them be a no show if unable to find a replacement guest.
  6. Google. Royal caribbean excursions for....type in name of port....then go to very bottom of page and it will show excursions available. See my example below for St Lucia https://www.royalcaribbean.com/inspire/caribbean-castries-st-lucia-shore-excursions
  7. We love this ship class with all the glass to see outdoors. They have a traditional cruise ship feel. Schooner bar is in a much better location, IMO.
  8. I just finished watching ep. 2 of new BD season with Capt. Kerry. We are definitely going to see drama with 2 stews. Things with Bosun not going well either. Capt Kerry is definitely a micro-mgr. Dearly miss Capt. Lee
  9. Omg Sue, that had to be scary to open your eyes and find yourself on the floor with FAs looking at you. Thankful you are OK now.๐Ÿ˜Š
  10. If I am at a bar that I know I will frequent I usually tip $10 or $20 upfront (but first I ask if they will be onboard the whole cruise) and then each time I go back I get great service and will tip more during the week. This also works well in the casino for the cocktail waiters as they will keep coming back to see if you need a refill.
  11. Your Wife is correct. $150 - $200 for a 7 day cruise in a OVB is over the top, IMO. Especially if you are doing auto tip. Now I am curious how much you tip at speciality dining.
  12. If only every baby came with a personalized manual๐Ÿ˜… The lack of sleep is always a challenge and takes a bit of time to work out a schedule of sleeping when the baby sleeps.
  13. I'm also glad you took him to get checked out. Hopefully nothing is broken ๐Ÿ™ Please keep us posted when you can.
  14. I have see them at chill island as well as south beach and the beach club. I'm sure they have near children's swim areas.
  15. The downside to these cabins is they are directly under the theater so you may hear noises when they are rehearsing, cleaning and during nighttime shows. If wanting a OV I personally prefer deck 4 on this ship class. The aft cabins have bed against the wall, not the window.
  16. Here is the info on the travel.state.gov website. Majority of the troubles on land in Nassau are gang related violence in their own neighborhoods. I personally always felt safe walking to Junkanoo beach, fish fry, shopping areas, etc. I will be there next week and other than be aware of my surroundings (which I do anywhere I am) the travel warning should not impact my day.
  17. This layout is actually nicer than bed at the window. Whenever we have had a OV cabin with head of bed at the window I hate having to kneel at top of bed to look out the window. I looked up cabin 3504 photos and that one shows head of bed under the window.
  18. Your best bet is to pick a cabin and google the cabin number to see if any photos available. I am pretty sure the head of the bed will be at the window.
  19. Oh No! How horrible that must have been for both of you. On a positive note, he didn't break anything or hit his head. Does he have a shower bench at home? When we redid our master bathroom bath I was so happy to have one built in, especially since Eric now has Orthostatic Hypotension where his pressures drop regularly. I hope everyone feels better once home.(((((โค๏ธ)))))
  20. This evening we had a unknown caller that Eric answered and of course it was a scammer. They went on tell him they were calling from some law firm (never understood the name with his broken English) and that he owes over $7600 on a HSBC credit card from 2010 and they are going to sue him unless he pays the settlement fee of $4100. Eric turned and asked me if we ever had a HSBC card, I don't remember having one. He then said, look I am not about to pay anyone without any proof of said debt and to please mail all the supporting documentation. The guy then went on to say "what do you think I am in the middle east" Eric said I have no idea where you are but it would be highly unlikely to receive a call from a law firm at 7:15 pm on a Saturday night. The guy then said, come on you know you owe it so just pay up. Eric then asked "What life event happened that you decided to become a criminal?" This is one of our favorite lines. They hung up! We rarely ever answer calls from unknown callers but I guess Eric was bored and wanted to play๐Ÿคฃ
  21. How are their casino's and their casino program for comps, etc.?
