  1. Same here. We need some sunny skies so tired of the rain and gloomy skies. There is an Indian Chief staying at a carriage house that is located on the property where I work. I asked him to do a sun dance the other day. Maybe he did! He has some amazing stories he is sharing while he is here visiting from CA.
  2. I suspect royal will refund a portion of the excursion to MP for those that paid for it. Remember they did get off ship, fly everyone to Cusco to hotel hoping the train would be running the next day while working on a back up plan. I think everyone onboard is fully aware that ports and plans will change for many different reasons and will enjoy visiting all the new places. Based on the Serenade blog they had a very nice day exploring the area and are still having more exploring today back in Lima.
  3. Excited for you to on vacation🤩 You'll get to CocoCay and have a beautiful day. That's what my crystal ball says😁 Weather changes by the hour on these islands
  4. From what I saw on one of the FB blogs, royal arranged some great tours in lieu of MP. Looks like those posting had a really nice time.
  5. Congratulations to and your family. Such a honor to be selected and part of this sailing. Your girls are all so beautiful😊
  6. You're right they do have a guilty puppy face. Their soo cute. Hopefully the meds continue to help Wendall😊
  7. Maybe check out courtyard Marriott at the airport for breakfast. You could uber or maybe shuttle as they are located in the middle of airport parking lots. Or uber to Broadway Diner as mentioned above then uber to the cruise port around 10 am is. There is nothing to do at the cruise port and terminal to sit inside probably won't open before 10 am for new guests.
  8. The last 2 times we boarded tram near ship and that small tram skipped the larger tram area and took us around the island. There are some paths paved but not everywhere. Maybe take the tram to one of the stops directly to beach, chill island is a nice area. Or spend the $$$ and book beach club day pass. Easy walking with pavers or concrete for most of that area.
  9. Welcome home. Food looks amazing. That is one very large filet! Was weather decent the whole cruise? What would be the average temperature this time of year?
  10. Love your photos! Thank you for sharing. I do have to ask - what is this a photo of? At first glance I thought it was a dead bird (looks like a beak and ey at the top of it)
  11. MTD starting at 6:45 seems to be the norm. Although you will see long lines starting to form way before 6:45 as those diners are hoping they can be seated earlier. You may just want to wait until your onboard before you make the switch to MTD. Just explain to the head waiter or matre'dD and hopefully they can accommodate you. I have found Head Waiter (not the waiters of your table but the Head Waiter that wonders around and stops by every table to make sure everything is okay) to be very helpful.
  12. Hi John and Sharon, So happy to hear you are both enjoying your cruise. Your cabin looks great with some nice features. Size of a JS? Look forward to more photos, if you have time. Based on what I see on the mainland on the app you will have 2 lobster nights. Tonight and night 6. Enjoy🥰
  13. Prices vary based on ship and length of the sailing. short cruises always seem to have higher priced drink packages. "Sales" may happen again around Easter, just never know if it will be better or higher. Figure out how much you will drink a day based on your port stops, etc at the current price for your sailing you may be better off paying per drink.
  14. I think it was somewhere around 2010 when they changed the way points were earned to 1 point for every night (unless in a suite). cruises prior to date of change earned 1 point per cruise.
  15. Definitely ask the head waiter or maitre'D on night 1 if they can accommodate or if you will have to make other diner plans for that evening.
  16. You definitely can get free wifi in Nassau Bahamas. If you walk along town there are several places that have signs saying free interent (Dunkin Donuts & McDonalds are 2 of them). You might even get free wifi at their new Welcome Center at end of the pier. CocoCay - No free wifi Labadee - 99.9% sure No free wifi Jamaica - if docking at Falmouth you should be able to find free wifi at the cruise port or you may find a cafe / bar offering for a nominal fee.
  17. Definitely no Free internet onboard unless you are Diamond or higher and then can free 24 hours or more depending on your status. You can usually get free internet at ports to check your email, etc. The crew tend to hang out at places where they can get free internet when on break from the ship. What is your itinerary?
  18. Thanks Renee. Hope you and Mike are enjoying! Did you find any MF purses for sale? That is a lot of D and up onboard. I guess the crown lounge will be a busy place.
  19. +1 we never bother doing our photos pre-cruise. Plus I'm not good at doing selfies
