  1. It’s on your electronic boarding pass as well.
  2. https://edocs.rccl.com/guestdocs/edocs/email/celebrity/CEL_Premium_Access_FAQs.pdf here’s the link if the pdf doesn’t open
  3. Your seapass card will have the Premium Access logo. At the terminal, look for the signage with the Premium Access logo to drop off your luggage. See attached pdf of the most recent FAQ. Hope this helps! CEL_Premium_Access_FAQs.pdf
  4. Were there loungers on the SV balcony or did you have to request ($) them? Any soot issues? We have an SV booked for our very first Celebrity cruise on Apex . So excited. Thank you
  5. The most important change is Celebrity clarified the Wi-Fi inclusion. The revised description clearly states Premium Wi-fi for 2 devices and eliminates the confusion caused by the original description which stated it was just an upgrade to premium Wi-Fi for 2 devices per guest. Customer service told me I had to purchase a wi-if package first which cost-wise made no sense.
  6. Thank you for the review. My first Celebrity cruise is the first week of April - didn’t realize this was the Easter weekend as we hope to escape all the kiddos on Royal. How did you find the noise level around the pool, at the Martini bar, in shows etc? Was it difficult finding loungers in the solarium on sea days? Did the staff assist with removing towels on vacant chairs? Was there a scheduled family time for the solarium ? Thank you!
  7. Following with interest. There seems to be some confusion with Celebrity ( surprise!) as to whether WIFI is Included OR whether the Pass only offers an Upgrade to existing internet. I called Captains Club when the Pass was first offered and after checking with a supervisor, received this response: This is an upgrade only if you already have basic wifi. You then get upgraded to Premium with 2 devices. If you currently have Premium Wifi with one device, you get an upgrade to 2 devices. Please update after your cruise!
  8. Excited to follow along as we have our first ever Celebrity cruise booked on Apex March 2024. We booked an SV on deck 9 and are looking forward to breakfast on our aft balcony. Quick question please. I see continental breakfast for no charge listed on the app for the current sailing. Are we able to order a hot breakfast and pay the standard room service charge? Thank you!
  9. 1-888-859-7692. I book direct with Celebrity so select option 2, then 1. A call back option is offered. I used it twice yesterday and was called back in the estimated time frame I was given. I also just checked 2 minutes ago and the call back option is still offered. Hope this might help.
  10. I am new to Celebrity as well but have used the Key multiple times on Royal and it is much more straightforward. The VIP Pass is very confusing. If there are 2 people in the cabin and only one person purchases the Pass, do they embark separately? Is the 2nd person able to join them for lunch? Sit together in reserved seating? It seems the only benefit to one person purchasing the pass is the WIFI upgrade to 2 devices (IF you have an internet package already) and free room service. Celebrity will need to address these issues.
  11. I called Captains Club for clarification and was informed that this is an upgrade only if you already have basic wifi. You then get upgraded to Premium with 2 devices. If you currently have Premium Wifi with one device, you get an upgrade to 2 devices.
  12. There are a few “newer” inside cabins that were added when the ship was amplified in 2018. This is from an old post “ … there are a few inside staterooms on Deck 9 (9329, 9331, 9333, 9335) that are also new.” Cabins 1101 and 1103 on Deck 11 are also new.
  13. Good advice. Thank you. We have access to the Diamond lounge anyways plus one of the newer JS. We’ve been spoiled for the suite life on Oasis and Quantum class but I really wanted to go to Bermuda! Royal needs to include internet and some form of specialty dining package for suites on their older ships.
  14. We sail on Mariner Sept. 29. As we are in a JS and debating submitting any bids, curious as to what the minimum bid was and how much you bid. Do you know if there were still GS available at time of bidding? Thanks and congrats on winning your bid!!
  15. If you check cruisedeckplans.com, it looks like those balcony cabins are over jr suites and the gym is further forward. They were newly added when Freedom was amplified so you would get to enjoy a “newer” cabin.
  16. The Key generally has more value on the Oasis or Quantum class ships. For example - On Odyssey, we were able to enjoy free North Star on sea days, free IFly, dedicated bumper car time, etc. IMO Not enough onboard activities to make the Key worth it on the smaller ships.
  17. Thank you Charles! I just read some of Heidi’s reviews. She sounds great - off the beaten path, knows schedules of large tours and how to avoid them, caps her tours at ten - I have just booked a tour with her!
  18. I have been searching for exactly the same thing! I did contact Lewis Foggo but he was booked as was Millard, another guide whose name has popped up on reviews. We want a private tour - not interested in sharing the cost with strangers who might not be interested in the same places we are. If any one has contact information for guides they have used , it would be greatly appreciated!
  19. Looking for a Blue flag taxi tour this October. For those that have recently taken one of these tours, how difficult was it to find a blue flag taxi once off the ship? Is it better to try and pre-book one? Searched through old threads but unable to get this information. What company did you use. Thank you!
  20. When Mariner was amplified in 2018, several new cabins were added on decks 11 and 12. Deck 11 has the 4 “new” JS - 1100, 1102, 1104 and 1106. The balconies look amazing. They appear to be wider than most of the suite balconies. We have booked one for my birthday cruise this October. Can’t wait!
  21. Special needs department will provide a raised toilet seat. Little things can make a big difference! Best wishes for a safe and speedy recovery!
  22. Did you have any trouble making reservations for your dining package once onboard? I couldn't resist 30 % off the 3 night package but worried about missing out on Eden so purchased that separately so I could reserve my preferred time and date online. Interesting note - Eden suddenly shows sold out but the cruise is not til March 2024
  23. On 3 recent cruises I was assigned a JS accessible twice, once on a GTY, once on RoyalUp so there are accessible suites available closer to sailing dates. Guessing Royal assumes they won’t be needed if not booked within 30:days and so releases them to the general public.
  24. You stand a good chance of being assigned an accessible JR suite as Royal releases these before the final 30 days. A bit more space but you lose the tub for a roll in shower.
  25. Do not worry about not leaving any of Dee Dee’s ashes at the Olive farm because she was there with you! Those we love are forever a part of us, always near us and only a heartbeat away. Sit on your balcony, close your eyes and know she is close. Feel her love in the warmth of the sun and the gentle breeze touching your face. The best way we can honour our precious loved ones that have passed is to live life every day to the fullest. And you are doing that for Dee Dee on this cruise. She is with you and so very proud of you. Thank you for sharing ALL of this journey with us.
