  1. Yes. I received a new booking email from Princess listing my new cabin number and price. I received a second email telling me to log into my account and pay for the new upgrade.
  2. Sorry, what I mean is that some port workers may only be familiar with certain terminology, such as, “Haven”. I’m not saying that is what happened at all. I just remember when boarding a Princess ship in LA I asked for the suite area and the port worker had no idea what I was referring to. When I said Haven area she knew exactly where to send me. Odd, but that’s why I now repeat all those phrases if the port person looks confused.
  3. At ports I have learned to ask for “Haven, Star Class, Suite” area in the hopes that they are familiar with one of those terms and can direct me to the right area. 😜
  4. I was notified yesterday for my November 10, 2022 cruise so three weeks prior for me. Suites have been sold out for a while on my cruise so I assume someone cancelled which triggered the upgrade. Not certain but that makes sense. They do not automatically charge your CC like other lines do. You have to log into your account and pay. You have 48 hours to pay or you forfeit your upgrade. I’m not sure if you can call to decline the upgrade or not, or if you automatically keep your original cabin if you do not pay, but others have reported that you do.
  5. NCL and Princess need to get their act together regarding internet service. RCCL was smart to go with Starlink. Sushi - I assume this is just a bar so no table reservations accepted, correct?
  6. There have been zero suites available on our November 10th Discovery cruise for a while but I just got upgraded to one. My guess is someone cancelled so you never know. 🤷‍♀️
  7. I can only answer if your bid IS accepted - Yes. First I received emails stating that I was NOT successful on bids I did not win. Thirty minutes later I received the “Yay, you have been upgraded” email for the bid that I won.

  9. It happened sooner then I thought it would. On our cruise all suites were “sold out”. Two possibilities: 1. Someone cancelled and the domino effect went into action or, 2. They were holding some suites and decided to release them. Crossing my fingers for you! 🤞🤞🤞🤞
  10. Just received my bid acceptance email for the 11/10/2022 Discovery sailing. Bid slightly above the minimum. Moving from a CC mini to an S4. The process was similar to what others are saying. I first received the emails for the bids that were NOT accepted. The acceptance email came 30 minutes later and is titled "Yay - you got your stateroom upgrade". They tell you to pay on your Cruise Personalizer but right now I am getting a notice that their website is having difficulties. 🙄 I have 48 hours to pay, though.
  11. @cruzin4us How is the wine supply? Are you hearing any complaints regarding the ship NOT having certain wines available? We are getting onboard November 5th and I want to make sure they have the Premier wines. If not, I am bringing them onboard. On other Princess threads, ships are running short of many brands. Thanks for the LIVE BTW!
  12. I was on one last year. They have themed parties (dress like the 80's), and have bands and DJs that play songs form the 80's.
  13. This is blasphemy!! They should NOT discontinue that drink IMO. It's the NCL drink. I always get that drink when I board too!

  15. You can either call to book it or book it in your app right away. When you go to pay it will not charge you anything.
