    Agree, waiting for MSC email saying as of ….. no testing is necessary. I know that at this point in time their cruises five nights or less for vaxxed do not require testing. We are seven nights in September, said it before, could have booked a four night and a three night and voila! no testing required, plus would have received two free nights in steakhouse.

    MSC Divina - in my opinion you received a great balcony considering you booked “inside guarantee.” You can Google MSC Divina Deck Plans and see exactly where it is.

    Agree, ha, need to get it printed out. A second email was also there about an upgrade which i do not want so deleted it before I clicked on anything by mistake.

    Thursday (18th) when I opened my email I found our next Cruise Ticket was there for our September 18 cruise. As much as I recall I had entered all pertinent information a couple weeks ago, (apart from cc info as that is never necessary until you board and do it at a kiosk). So was surprised to see it ready and waiting with everything correct. A month to go!

    Hank, glad you enjoy the Yacht Club, I have read many wonderful reviews of it. In my response to the OP, I was simply summarizing our past positive cruise experiences with MSC as succinctly as I could. Some days when I go through the various threads there seems to be so much negativity. BTW I do not drive an “old vw beetle” although it might be cool to!

    Reading some of the “not so positive comments,” we have cruised 5 MSC ships and some several times over and have never had a bad experience. 1) never used TA 2) cruised either Interior or Balcony, never experienced Yacht Club 3) cruised with and w/o beverage package Trust your experience would be as enjoyable as ours. Next MSC, September 11 nights on Divina, again.

    Ty for detailed report. We go to Bermuda in October and they still require testing along with $40 so need to test. Will try Onpoint for first time using the test kits we received via USPS from government. Assume they are suitable.

    Lucky you. We did a B2B on Freedom couple months ago and loved it. But then again we have yet to be on a cruise we did not love, well I should say enjoy, love is a strong word.

    We have River Cruised Europe and Carnival and MSC Caribbean since cruising started up again, thought I had it figured out, next MSC September, researching again, yikes.

    We have B2B booked for January, great prices for new ship. Haven’t cruised on Mardi Gras yet so wanted to get on Celebration when new.

    Love the Pride. The Red Frog Pub has games in the back of it that we found seldom used, especially early in the cruise and early in the day. Kids might enjoy. Didn’t want you to miss them.

    Oh funny, when we drove in there was a gentleman pointing to the entrance, I guess that helped us, ha!

    PC parking is one of the easiest we have ever experienced, easy and direct in and out.

    Is the $16.99 on-point test that you use your own kit for acceptable to MSC, is it considered NAAT test?

    On the complimentary “platinum” beverages we had on our last cruise, we were charged an additional $2-$3 each as beverage covers up to $10.

    A better Upgrade Offer than I have ever had. But I do agree with “wegonow.” On the other hand adding $300 to your already paid $400 makes an Extended Balcony on deck 8 a great rate. Such a dilemma! Regardless, so glad you can enjoy a cruise to Alaska.

    Yes, if you stop at your Muster Station before you pick up your Sign n Sail card outside your Cabin or on your way to buffet or whatever you use your Boarding Pass. Didn’t want to confuse you. Sign n Sale cards not ready until Cabins are made available so it is most likely you would use your Boarding Pass. As Schoifmom suggested.

    You take your Sign n Sail card with you and Crew will click on it and all will be well.

    Our seven night mid September 2022 was if I remember correctly a rebooking after a rebooking after a cancellation or something like that. So we will test and will cruise. But “goldenbonny” agree, MSC get on the ball, and you enjoy your cruise on Princess.
