Family wants to know if the soft serve ice cream machines are available. Also any Italian gelato or sorbet? How were television channels ( asking as had to rely on tv one day in Ensenada when storms prevented getting off ship on Carnival Radiance.) Thank you.

Sorry to jump in, also check out the “Big Chicken” area back of ship ,often missed first day. Blue Iguana has some breakfast items, so does Bug Chicken and nearby a continental breakfast. I had to go looking for front loops there one day! BBQ imo was meh as everything lukewarm and guard your plate if eat at picnic tables the seagulls are pros.

We have sailed Radiance six times and do not recall seeing pens for sale. We sail end Feb if need info after that. Actually their merchandise is quite limited as smaller number shops and size IMO.

It is a maritime law for crew for safety. Even if entire say US made THC or CBD legal, the ship law applies, especially in foreign waters, or even stricter applies to countries sailing to and their laws at port. From Carnival “Any illegal narcotics/drugs including synthetic, designer drugs, Cannabidiol (CBD) and medical marijuana. While certain CBD products used for medicinal purposes may be legal in the US, they are not legal in all the ports we visit and therefore are also considered prohibited items.”

Have not sailed Conquest so do not know egg crate availability. However, when we could feel crack between two twins, the cabin steward put another comforter under the sheets to thickened it up and made it softer. We also like cozy blanket hen sitting on bed and requested the blue blankets (they are ones I believe use for lido movies) If Conquest has a lido screen. I would think could move table out, if not flip over and put on couch or on its side by wall. Since I know balcony rooms are only type with coffee table, beware not to open balcony door and hall door at same time. It either slams, or a huge wind tunnel in cabin. Interior cabins do not have a coffee table or couch.

My last two Muster station checking onCarnival Radiance were done using the boarding pass as our sign n sail cards had not yet arrived. However, my hub app kept telling me I had not completed it. We went down and double checked- they confirmed I had. So do not freak out if you did indeed complete and they scanned paper, hub app apparently not always correct. p.s. when they do the audio safety alert it can be quite deafening in cabin, ours I had to leave, next cruise husband held pillow on ceiling speaker. This cruise in same cabin, going to put on noise cancel headphones to cut volume. I can still hear but not get a headache.Just an alert if traveling with young kids, may make them cry if near a speaker.

Parking. At Long Beach Misc ship photos embarkation day Road in if driving, turn left at stop sign before pass parking structure if not dropping bags with a porter to go park. Other wise go straight, drop bags and circle around. For parking, try and park on first level, or up ramp as no need to take elevator when got off ship.

This map was given to us a few cruises ago by Island Golf cart rentals. It took us about 1 hr 50 whole route, and about 20 min less if skip ride up to Wrigley gardens. unless going into garden, not much to see up there imo. On Sumner street a few blocks in 240 Sumner is an Avon’s grocery store for any items may need. We often ask our room steward as they have little time to get off. surprisingly asked for potato chips. another humbly asked for cough / allergy syrup as her country did not sell it. In fact last cruise we had sealed snack size pretzels and gave her extra bags on our last day.She was so happy, she even confessed later she ate two bags while servicing a room as no time for food breaks with all rooms she needed to get done and going to get food and return is beyond break time allowance.

Platinum/Diamond met in Sunrise Main Dining Room, 7:30-9:30am be escorted down to gangway for tender. No priority on shuttle back. there is a waiting area in Catalina if have a need for handicap access help. My parents with canes due t disabilities could not stand and were able to sit in wall, and waived up when boarding began. FYI - the shuttle pulls in very close to the walk up golf cart rentals and we were able to leave them at this same wall, rent golf cart and pull up to pick them up. just get an early shuttle as in Feb cruise got off at 10:30 and had to wait 30min for a golf cart to be returned.

We have sailed arnival Radiance 7 times and hall doors are magnetic, as well as bathroom door and ceiling. I bought heavy magnetic hooks to use on walls, and they slid down. Prior to magnets last cruise, I have also brought blue painter tape to hang our door decor- easy to remove. p.s don’t use any magnets you are afraid of losing.

The cabin has pumps of shampoo and body gel, and a bar soap. however may need to bring own hair conditioner if you need it. Besides asking for pillows, we have asked for an extra blanket - most cruises bring the velour one from movies, once a king size. If first cruise- bring a handled commuter cup, much easier to carry than small drink cups or mug they provide, and can get beverage, put on table then go get food in buffet. Just be health conscious and fill your personal cup with one of theirs.

Agree seven Radiance cruises and all deck 3 here embarked into ship. The priority disembark it is in Sunrise Atrium main dining room under spiral stairs deck 3 atrium meet up approx 7am. Latest the ship was cleared to disembark for us was 7:20am , earliest last cruise as 6:45am! If worrying about exiting with luggage, think about getting on with it as Long Beach has over 4 ramps to wheel up, or if Handicap assistance needed a very small 4 person elevator with wheelchairs inside.
