I realize of course that I could have looked the word pithivier up, but quite honestly, not too many folk know what it is so why put the stupid word on a menu. Not surprised at the wind, it was blowing a hoolie last night.

That was a better menu. Still don't know what a pithivier is??!!

As I saw one single butter cube in each dish, I can only assume some passenger put three into one and then added something else. Each butter dish in the buffet had only one cube in each.

Your booking confirmation will have your account number on it. -
Well I will repeat. We had no problem on Aurora. About 0830 to 0900 we had no problem finding an empty table for our breakfast.

We were on for 19 days and got repeats the second week. They must be able to put on something that is different on some days for goodness sake.

I am very sorry for the opening poster, but a deposit is just that - an unrefundable deposit. That's the whole point of the deposit.

Yes, my husband loves eggs benedict. Great choice and actually on Aurora, we found areas that weren't crowded at all.

We had great breakfasts in the buffet. wonder what was wrong.

We can get 19 nights in 2 suitcases. I certainly wear things more than once, except for the formal things. I am in shorts and a t-shirt most days, so they don't take up much room.

I don't dislike them all, but they are now very samey and some of the veg dishes are just awful. One night the title was Vegetable Stew!! Luckily, food is not the reason I cruise.

Dear me, it's as bad as the shops. I get so fed up with Christmas Ads already on the TV. For me Xmas doesn't start until about 15th December. -
Be thankful you weren't on Saga Spirit of Discovery in the Bay of Biscay between Bilbao and La Rochelle. She did a violent lurch to the left and 100 passengers are injured, 5 badly. It was on the BBC news this morning.

We do 19 nighters and I never do laundry on board. We also only take one case each and I still bring back clothes I haven't worn. Agree, I'm on holiday, no housework!

Celebration/Formal are they the same ?

Just back from Aurora and didn't notice any difference between Celebration and Formal. Both had a slightly better menu than ordinary nights. In fact, not sure I understand the difference at all. -

Exactly the same menus as Aurora. So many nights I really struggled with something I liked. I think we had salmon once in 19 nights.

The menus appear to be the same in all MDRs going by what Selbourne is showing.
