Yes I read the document, but just saying that Aviva doesn't cover over 85s if you do a quote with them for either travel insurance or car insurance. Will renew on 19th April and see if we can stay with the company who covers them now.
So when it says for Tromso Arrive Afternoon, and overnight - I presume that means you leave at silly o'clock in the morning. It's not a real overnight stay?
I am thinking of fitting it in to March/April as that's when our cruise insurance would cover us. After that, might need to think again about cruising. It's becoming mega expensive.
Thanks everyone for your comments. Sounds very positive.
Vaguely lookiing at doing a Norway cruise. Not done one before as we usually like warm climes. One of the places listed is Romsdalsfjord, but it looks like you just cruise down the fjord and don't stop
Also, can you DIY in these ports, Tromso, Andalsnes, Stavanger. We don't like ship excursions.
That's interesting, as Aviva is our motor insurance provider and will not now cover my husband who 8is 85. I wonder what they will do about us when we come to renew our Nationwide Travel insurance.
Happy Days, remind me of my flying career. Constantly going out of hours because of delays etc. I once did 21 hours with the other girls, because they only sent the Flight Deck, an engineer and a spare part!
Absolutely right. So you are booked on the Dreamliner with eg 24 seats in premium economy and they change the aircraft to an Airbus with 16 seats in premium economy. 8 passengers will have to travel in ordinary seats, so they get their PE money back, but still go on holiday.
We booked on board and had a reduced deposit and lots more OBC. If you have booked the current cruise through a TA they will ask you if you want it sent through to the TA, in which case, you can get even more discount.
Have to say it serves them right. Any aircraft can be hit by violent turbulence. It happened on one of our aircraft. One of the stewardesses hit the ceiling and was injured. If you take to social media like he did, you deserve all you get.
You got it right there! We were once coming back from Costa Rica and had to go into Miami to change flights. The customs person didn't like the look of my Roses Lime Juice and forced me to drink some of it even though I told her it's supposed to be mixed with water!
Problem with upgrades is that what P&O thinks is an upgrade often isn't! We had chosen our mid-forward inside cabin on D Dek and were upgraded to a cabin on A deck. That is the last place I want to be, especially in a rough sea. They moved us back.
