This is from the Silversea website about status matching:

    https://www.silversea.com/travel-informations/faq.html

How do I enroll in the sister program to qualify for status matching?

Venetian Society members can call at the time of booking to enroll:

Enroll Royal Caribbean Crown & Anchor Society
    North America (800) 526-9723
Outside of North America (541) 285-9723 (charges may apply)
Open Monday through Friday, 9 AM-9 PM ET and Saturday through Sunday 9 AM-6 PM ET

    Enroll Celebrity Cruises Captain’s Club
    North America 1-800-760-0654
Outside of North America 1-316-554-5961 (charges may apply)
    Open 24 hours

Members of Royal Caribbean Crown & Anchor Society or Celebrity Cruises Captain’s Club:

Enroll in Venetian Society through their respective brand apps

How do I qualify for the new Loyalty Status Match program?
You must be 18 years of age and enrolled in the loyalty program of each brand where you wish to have your status matched.

Can I match my status across all three Royal Caribbean Group brands at once?
Upon joining each brand's loyalty program, your status will be matched. If you're currently a member of more than one Royal Caribbean Group brand’s loyalty program, your status will be updated automatically within 5-7 business days.

Are there any exclusions for certain loyalty tiers in the Status Match program?
Yes, both the Pre-Gold tier in Royal Caribbean's Crown & Anchor Society and the Preview tier in Celebrity Cruises Captain's Club are excluded.

When can I start to enjoy Status Match benefits?
Venetian Society onboard benefits effective on sailings departing June 5, 2024, and onward. Venetian Society Member Savings (5% and 10%) applicable on new voyages booked after May 30, 2024.

If I am on a voyage that started prior to May 30, 2024, and I qualify for Status Match benefit starting May 30, 2024, can I enjoy those benefits on that voyage?
No, Venetian Society onboard benefits effective on sailings departing June 5, 2024, and onward. Venetian Society Member Savings (5% and 10%) applicable on new voyages booked after May 30, 2024.

So, what will members of Venetian Society get if they sail on Celebrity or Royal and vice versa?  How will the status match work?  Does anyone have any details?

I have called CC 3 times today and every time I get a recording for an answer instead of a live person. This is of course after the initial recorded response advising a few minutes hold time.  Can't get thru' to a live person. Anyone have a suggestion? I would like to make some arrangements before boarding to avoid standing in line at the spa on boarding day.

I don’t believe that Captains Club can do anything about making spa appointments for you.  If you are in a suite the shoreside concierge might be able to help.

  3. Before my first cruise, a neighbor came by to give me some advice. He said he always smuggled some vodka aboard and brought a blender because there was so much fruit available on the buffet, and he could make his fruity blender drinks in his room.  Never tried it.

No one is saying that making reservations can't be done in the cruise planner. What people are saying is that oftentimes MDR reservations are ignored by E-class ships, in your case, Apex. Just be advised that the work you did in making careful dinner reservations might be for naught.

I am reminded of the quote from Seinfeld, said to the car rental agent

“ see, you know how to take the reservation; you just don’t know how to hold the reservation “

So, you can’t make dining reservations for the different restaurants on the Edge class?

    that’s right

I thought that we had done that before.   What if you have set dining, say at 6….how do you know which restaurant?

they don't do set dining on that class ship

  6. In February a friend had a need, unexpectedly, for a mobility scooter. There was no way to park it comfortably in her stateroom.  Every night, her steward took the scooter to the alcove next to the library, plugged it in, and after overnight charging, returned it to her the next morning. It was never parked in a hallway where it would have been a traffic hazard. The steward said this was the standard operating procedure for passengers who had not been able to book accessible state rooms. This was on Millennium,

Although I agree Luminae has not been open for lunch on port days as a policy, occasionally I have seen them deviate from that when they expect a lot of people to stay on board for a specific port. So for those remembering lunch on a port day, you very well may be right for the specific sailing/ port you were in.

Even so that might be one day in a cruise, but not open on a daily basis

I attended several of these classes on previous cruises for FREE and now $67.00 each.
Taste of Tokyo: Hands-On Sushi Making Class, Taste of Italy: Hands-On Pizza Class, and Taste of Argentina: Hands-On Steak Class

    These are not new.

the old free classes were demonstration only, these classes are hands on, and they have been doing them for quite a while

Hello, we never get up early am and out early.  We never had any problems staying in our cabins, maybe because we tip extra well????  We always leave our cabin between 9:30-10am and walk off our luggage with no crowd issues to be honest.

10 am?  You are likely to hear your names being paged by then and you’ll be leaving in the “walk of shame” parade😀

I heard about this program here at Cruise Critic and thought I would give it a try.  I think we have participated three times in total, but have only been credited the extra points one time.  The first time I signed up was in June 2023.  The service was the same as normal but we didn't get any extra points.  The second time I signed up was for an October Spain and Portugal cruise.  The service again was like normal but our Captain Club points were double so Celebrity had honored our Go Green request.  Then we took a January cruise and this time we definitely were on the Go Green Program.  The cabin attendant asked us if we wanted the room cleaned morning or evening.  We chose morning and that is the only time he entered our cabin.  No refreshing of towels or emptying our trash in the evening or chocolates on our pillow or room turned down at night.  The attendant was in our cabin once a day and I thought to myself that this service should definitely be considered as being part of the Go Green Program.  I have read here on Cruise Critic most people can't see any difference in service with the Go Green Program, but we sure could on this particular cruise.  We definitely earned the extra Go Green points on this cruise but Celebrity is refusing to award them to us.

I have contacted Customer Service three times and this most recent time (today) was told if I have no proof (email from Celebrity of being on the program) then I am not eligible for the extra points. Curious that the room attendant knew we signed up for the Go Green Program but Celebrity has no clue.

Well, if Celebrity is not going to honor their side of things (award points) then we will never sign up for Go Green again.

I sign up on every cruise and have never received any sort of written confirmation. I’m board day, you can go to guest services and sign up there and there is no email or paperwork involved. Whoever was asking you for a written confirmation does not understand how the program works.
