Hi, We are leaving on a cruise in Feb from Singapore. How do I found out what theme nights will be on the cruise. It's 13 nights. I have searched online and the app to no avail. Thanks!

Evening chic two or possibly three times in your cruise but unless you are sailing over Halloween you won’t see any fancy dress.  There might be more red or pink on Valentine’s Day but not something that Celebrity organizes, really

  2. Why Celebrity has not ever been able to fix this known problem is a mystery to me. It waste passengers time while they are making the phantom Reservations, it is annoying when they get on ship and find out that their reservations are merely ephemera, and it is a time waster for staff who had to continually explain the shortcoming.

  3. Sometimes but they aren’t very predictable.  You can cancel your existing reservation and rebook, but you have to hope that it doesn’t sell out in the interim.

@kitty9 Best wishes for your sister and glad she is doing better.  Hopefully you will all have a great cruise.  Instead of listening to the range of noise and responses here, if it were me I would just call Celebrity and explain the situation.  You never know what happens but I would be up front about it.  If the answer is NO, at least you tried.  And there may still be time to get the oncologist to prescribe something else for the cruise duration.  Best of luck!

I am surprised at the advice to call Celebrity and simply explain the situation.  Whoever you speak with will simply open their book of stock answers and read out the guest conduct policy.  See post #3.

  5. Since we don’t know you personally it’s hard to know what will make you happy. Thousands of passengers book all of the older Celebrity ships, which are kept an excellent repair and are lovely.

If you go into an experience, expecting not to be happy, the odds are that you won’t be. Expect to enjoy it and you probably will.

    • I have read and told by my travel agent that you can buy one classic and one non alcoholic  package - instead of forcing you to have both have the classic package .   However when i called they said they needed a medical reason to grant an exception ... I said what if they are an alcoholic or just on a special diet ?  -   anyone dealing with this issue

Your travel agent is not giving you fully correct information. It used to be possible for one passenger to have one kind of package and the other to have a different package. But no more. However, the exception is for medical reasons, then one passenger can have the non-alcoholic, while the other has one of the alcohol packages. So what you were told on the phone is correct. You can get a medical exemption, but otherwise, both in the room must have the same package.

If you read social media sailing groups this always comes up often accompanied by CPAP machine

The consensus is it's the lesser of all evils to bring a non-surge extension cord and put it in your luggage that goes to the porter

Celebrity will provide you an extension cord and distilled water for a CPAP machine so no need to bring your own extension cord, which will likely be confiscated if you try
