    Yes, while it is usually held on embarkation day, there have been reports if it being held later in the cruise, which as you say makes no sense. I remember one report where the ship had just returned to service and they said that’s why it wasn’t held on embarkation day but I think there have been a couple more cases, too

    Solarium music is almost always “new age” — the sort of thing you hear played in a spa — no lyrics, no real tunes — low volume relaxation music poolside music could be rock, reggae, Jimmy Buffett, almost anything lively and conducive to a party atmosphere, and sometimes it is excessively loud

    Always at home, bringing extras in case the first ones get torn or mangled in the airline baggage system……….

    No bear sightings are guaranteed. Being wild, they may or may not be in any given location depending on weather, food supply, and other factors. It would be hard to schedule a tour to see them

    I don’t think that telephone number works from the UK, it’s a toll-free number for Americans but not for others
